please...give me suggestions or something...but this is driving me insane...

ok...IRL...i basically only have two friends(Cat and Jon) that i hang out with and everything...they're basically the only reasons why i even go outside and do stuff...anyway...as of resently cat's parents aren't allowing her to hang out with jon unless it's at her house...and all three of us have hung out together a lot before her parents desided this...anyway...so...it's kinda hard to deal with...anyway...i live closer to jon so i see him more than i do cat she's like...in a different city than me...but i still go to see her when i can...or rather...when her parents allow me to (they're really weird). lately jon's mom has been really helping me with like...getting into OCC(a community college here) so i've been seeing MORE of him...and now she's feeling left out and stuff and doesn't like it...and is now getting upset with me...but the thing is...whenever i try to call her about trying to get together to do stuff...SHE DOESN'T PICK UP! either that or her parents have taken her phone away for a week or something...it's really annoying...

so yeah...i dunno what to do...she's made at both me AND jon...cuz she's not being included...but how can we include her when her parents are being...PSYCO?! it's driving me crazy...i kinda wanna talk to her about it...and then i kinda just wanna just...ignore it and hope it goes away...

prayers would help...of course...

"The advice I like to give young artists, or really anybody who’ll listen to me, is not to wait around for inspiration. Inspiration is for amateurs; the rest of us just show up and get to work. If you wait around for the clouds to part and a bolt of lightning to strike you in the brain, you are not going to make an awful lot of work. All the best ideas come out of the process; they come out of the work itself. Things occur to you. If you’re sitting around trying to dream up a great art idea, you can sit there a long time before anything happens. But if you just get to work, something will occur to you and something else will occur to you and something else that you reject will push you in another direction. Inspiration is absolutely unnecessary and somehow deceptive. You feel like you need this great idea before you can get down to work, and I find that’s almost never the case." - Chuck Close[/color]

I'll pray for this. I had a friend do something similiar. Without knowing the full story, I'd say try to keep reaching her, without doing something that her parents might view as intrusive. It's possible she feels so lonely shes lashing out at you all without really realizing it. The other possiblilty is you all are just growing apart as you go through the transition from regular schooling to college. Its amazing how many life long friendships just fizzle out despite their iniital strength because of changes in locations, schedules, or lifestyles. I'm mentioning this since I know so little about what's going on; it bears considering.

Do you know why Cat's parents feel the way that they do? Perhaps talking to them would help. I'm praying.

look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!â€

My first long romantic relationship broke up something like this.

My advice is: don't accept silence as a answer. Talk about it.

Yeah talking about it woudl definately be the best thing. I'll be praying about the whole situation...

I'd suggest writing her a letter, expressing that you still care about her. Use that as a method of communicating if you're unable to see her in person.

I'll be praying. I hate losing contact with my friends too. Just do your best not to take it personally.

YAY!!! Hey, she can just download one can't she? :)

They've got this great client called Gaim, which is like trillian ( I think, haven't tried trillian cause it costs too much :( ), anyways, the client allows one to chat w/ people from various IM's ( AOL/ICQ, Yahoo, Jabber, MSN, Gadu-Gadu, Groupwise, napster. -Half of which I never heard of before I just checked now. O_O; ) , So yeah, if possible or if she wants I suggest she downloads one. ^^
