I’ve been going back and forth whether or not to post this or not. I wasn’t sure if I should let on how sentimentally squishy I could be.

So, in short, I just wanted to thank CAA as a whole for … existing. I think we really are quite the incredible forum, and most of the time there is a feeling of closeness here that I’ve never seen anywhere else online, except maybe Anime Angels. We have so many individuals that add their own certain something – and CAA wouldn’t be the same without them.

I look forward to logging on everyday. I appreciate having the privilege of being on staff. I’ve met and made so many friends here, and I’ve really gotten a kick out of watching CAA grow. There’s so many members now, and I feel rather bad that I can’t keep track of everyone anymore.

So, thank you, CAA for being what you are, and for what you will become. This place is my “homeâ€

So...warm...so fuzzy...so....ARRGGGGGG! ;)

LOL, no seriously, I agree with you, Gypsy. It doesn't feel like it's been that long since I joined, and I know I haven't been here as long as you or Ashley or Steve, but it seems like a ton has happened...

God bless the CAA...:thumb:

People who write below their abilities in order to crank out tons of books and make a buck. Especially Christian authors who do that. Outsiders judge us for it, and make fun of us for it, and it makes Jesus look bad. We of all artists on earth should be the most concerned with doing our best possible work at all times. We of all people should write with all our hearts, as if writing for the Lord and not for men.

All goofiness aside (hey it's a Gypsy thread, it's gonna be silly), you're an invaluable member here too Gyppers. I know you hate it when I get squishy but you've made a huge impact in my life--both on site and in the real world. Thanks for adding that special something to the place.

Thus shall it be! *Storm enters the room, lightning flashes, thunder roars, whilst Zarn Cackles insanely. Moment is ruined when the set behind him falls, the lights crash from the ceiling, and Zarn gets sore throat from cackling* .....*ish mortified*....Well, just letting yall know we love yall, and Espcially Ashley. *runs off to finish anime list for Gypsy*

I think there needs to be, perhaps, a little more forgiveness all around here... and from some of the board, I feel love... but not all... I'm not sure I really feel completely loved here. I still feel like a bit of an outsider - but, I feel like that everywhere.

Still, I like this place, and, overall, it's been very welcoming to me, and I've found a lot of supportive people willing to pray for me and stuff. That makes me feel good - to have a place to disscuss one of my favorite things in the whole wide world (anime), and also have it be a place where I'm not afraid to ask for prayer.

Most other anime forums I go to... have lots of close-minded people who think that Christianity is for fools. It's very refreshing to be at a place that embraces anime, fantasy, and goofiness... and yet also is full of people who share the faith.

<----- In agreement with Shadsie on the outsider/CAA coolness thing.

This is the first forum I ever cared enough about to post in every day. I hope that between the goofy, random, and sometimes just plain stupid topics that come up, God will use this site to be a blessing to those see it.

LOL, wow. Nice archy. I really love this place. I only wish I could get to know more people and for more to get to know me. ^_^ So many friends to make, so few chances to let my personality shine. Hmm... that gives me an idea. Does any thread exsist with the single purpose of bringing people together to share about themselves and make friends? (Well... I guess in a sense the entire forum does that... but I mean in a more personal way.)
"So David said to Michal, "It was before the LORD, who chose me instead of your father and all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the LORD, over Israel. Therefore I will play music before the LORD. And I will be even more undignified than this, and will be humble in my own sight. But as for the maidservants of whom you have spoken, by them I will be held in honor."

2 Samuel 6: 21&22

Eh, I have to throw my lot in this thread as well. CAA is relatively important to me. It's what I do with my internet time. I hope that we can be more than a community, though, and accomplish some of the many ideas that we are working on.

And I won't get down on you for being sappy, though it's hardly me.

CAA is a cool place, and my only web forum. With my insane school and work schedule, the fact that I come here nearly every day is a witness to that fact. I don't know anyone really well, other than the posting that goes on, but in truth, I think this is the best site around. I agree with what the others have said about becoming a closer community, but then again, I can understand how difficult that is to make a reality, since we are dealing with individuals through a monitor and not in person. Still, all in all, I think this site does what most other sites could never accomplish, and I guess that's why I come back. Alright, enough saccharine from me...

Sappiness Overwhelming....

Arrgh... the warmth... the fuzziness... the sappiness... the sweetness... the squishing... too overwhelmling... must resist... arrgh....

*gives up*

On a more serious note, I must say the CAA is a really nice place on the web. This is the first and only web forum I go to.
