For Shannara Fans

This is a thread for everyone who has read and enjoyed at least 1 of Terry Brooks' Shannara novels.
Just answer the following questions:
*How many Shannara books have you read?

My answers:
*I think I have read at least 3 or 4 but not sure.
*Well I do know I have read both The Elfstones of Shannara and
The Wishsong of Shannara(currently re-reading).

I don't have time to answer all questions right now, but I think I'll make time later. I like Terry Brooks. I think I've got about a dozen of his books, but I'm not sure. He's a close third to Tolkien and Eddings.

I finished The Wishsong of Shannara yesterday.Compared to LOTR the Shannara books are easier and faster to read.I have also read some of Eddings as well.
I think Brooks lives somewhere in Oregon,I'm not sure as his official bio at the end of the novels only says he lives somewhere in the Pacfic Northwest.

I guess that's true for me. It's been years, though. At some point in early high school I looked in the fantasy section of my local library and they had quite a number of the Shannara series, though now I cannot recall many specific titles or details.

I've read all of the Shannara series, most of them at least twice. The only one I actually own is the First King of Shannara.

My favorite Ohmsford(s)? Probably Jair; my favorite characters tend to be the Leah family characters

It was awhile since the last time I read any Shannara book.What I found refreshing was that Brooks kept the characters he killed off dead.I also enjoyed the
relationship between Slanter and Jair throughout.
