Firefox 2.0 Out Tomorrow

Postby Locke » Mon Oct 23, 2006 7:07 pm

The day has finally come folks, Mozilla Inc is going to release their award winning browser TOMORROW.

Now if you've been with the browser since it's early days ( Firebird baby!) you've learned to accept Firefox for what it is, a great alternative to IE. Maybe thats all it is to some, but to those who run Greasemonkey scripts to download YouTube clips, this one's for you.

Heh. I'm going to wait a few weeks to see what shakes out. It might be mozilla, but it's STILL a complicated program.

All that techno mumbo jumbo makes my brain bleed. I think I'd best stay away from it, I might end up making a bomb out of all that code or something.

I can never get FireFox to let me do some things that I want it to do... I don't like that i have to download all sorts of updates for the other programs I use...

I mean Java works fine of my IE but it doesn't work a lick on FireFox.

I love the emblem though! :D

Is it unofficially released today or something? Because it's not updated on the main page - it still offers only 1.5.0.7 or RC3.
Everywhere like such as, and MOES.

Hmm, that's rather odd - it's offering me 2.0 on Firefox's main page.

Must... resist... urge to... plug Opera...

Anyway, yeah, it's kind of exciting, some of the changes are kind of exciting. Definitely a good thing for the fourth-best browser I've used.

Somehow, I find this ironic...XD
