It'll be out in January. I've seen all the way through of the first season and then part of the second season till it got licensed. It's different, but ok. Like I'd watch it and all, but not the best anime...

I'd agree, it is only an "ok" anime. At times it feels like watching someone else place a rpg video game, and there's parts of it that get really old really fast (like their footstep sound effects, oh my gosh they are so fake sounding). I almost made it through the first season before I decided I'd rather watch something else. It's not quite as cool as the opening or the previews make it seem.

This is slightly off topic, but does anyone here read the manga? I do, when I have free time in bookstores, but it seems there is very little interesting.

Not all elements of the story are excellent or that original, I will admit (and in set up it is disturbingly like their previous Dragon Warrior series). But I think this is the most solid variation of the concept I have seen. Plus, I have been impressed by the apparently complex plot planning involving the 7-Star Vandels and especially whatever it is that rules the Dark House of Sorcery (intentionally vague to avoid spoilers).
