Such Great Resources

"for everyone born of God overcomes the world, This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith."
I John 5:4

After the Battle of the Bulge during World War II, one German officer described the capture of an American unit early in the fighting. Among the booty was a box that contained a cake. What was remarkable about the cake is that it had been sent to an American soldier from Boston and it was still fresh. The German described his feelings when he realized that the Americans had the resources to fly over cakes from home even in the midst of a global war. He said that he knew then, that they would never defeat an enemy that had such resources for the waging of the battle. When we stand in Christ we have that sort of support, and so much more.

God places such great resources before us in the spiritual war we fight. Claim them and stand strong knowing that we have victory.

Prayer: Thank God for the victory you have against your spiritual enemy.
