Okay, this time, you have to pick an odd couple (any setting, action/adventure, slice of life, whatever) but one character must be anime and one character must be live action, be it television or movie. Go.

Nicholas D. Wolfwood (Trigun) and Han Solo (Star Wars). Stranded on Tatooine and handcuffed together, they have to cross the desert back to Mos Eisley on foot without getting killed by the elements, Tusken Raiders... or each other.

Okay, I'm not sure if you mean "couple" as in "romantic" or just "duo," but in any case....
