(Wow, its been a long time for me. I really hope I'm no breaking any rules) Hi everybody! :)

Just wondering, does anyone have any interesting anime ideas? Like, has anyone have a plot of an anime, like wanted to make their own series or show, manga, etc.? After a discussion with friends, I realized, I had many anime ideas but one stuck with me the most (Due to my love for mecha and transformers, etc.) I know many peole already have a web manga and/or are making there own manga as we speak, which is awesome!

Anyway, if you could post up a title, plot, main character(s) and physical descriptions and personalities, main elements and genre, that'd be nice. Your influences would be pretty cool too.

For example, I have an idea of an action-adventure mecha anime called Nizzan 01

Its is about two brothers (well, one teenaged boy, one former-human younger teen) named Caleb and Silos Hafferd. The setting takes place in the year 2050, where humans are fighting an alien race called Hiaxus, which usual fights with giant robots. Silos (age 19) is an inventor who constructed some of the robots: G-Unit robots, as well as several robots with AI technology. Unfortunately, two years prior, during a certain project with Subject-9, a horrible accident, involving his younger brother Caleb (age 15) caused his brother to be electrocuted and on the verge of death. Desperate to save his little brother, Silos transferred his mind into that of the Subject-9 (a giant AI robot with no database that specialized in speed and agility) to save his life. Caleb came to as the giant robot, confused as to why his body was now made out of metal and no longer flesh and bone and etc. Frightened and angered, he goes on a semi-rampage, only to discover that his body would no longer be able to hold him and that his brother had did the mind-transfer to save his life. However, because of this, Caleb was the only robot that didn't have an AI, but was truly sentient, and thus, immune to Hiaxus's robot control.

Present day, Silos Hafferd drafts into the organization (can't think of a name yet) which fights the Hiaxus powers with AI robots and humans. Because the Hiaxus is trying to find a certain element on Earth, they guard several reserves and search for the hidden keys to access these elements called Vestones. Caleb joins his brother (becasue thats what brothers do) and helps him out, serving as his main robot-companion. Although Caleb doesn't like to fight, he will do his very best and, if the need is neccessary, destroy Hiaxus armies to protect his brother (although, he usually only dissables them or temporarily hold them back because of his hesitance to fight in war). The two travel on a journey to find the five Vestones in order to get to the elements before the Hiaxus do.

Main Characters

Silos Hafferd

Height: 5'10

Age: 19

Story: He was an inventor, whose parents died when seven years old. He raised his younger brother and both were taken in by their aunt (mother's younger sister) Sara. In elementary school, he was gifted with the ability to make machines, both AI or warlike. His first AI robot was a tiny robot he made in the fourth grade. He went to a prestigious school for inventors, where he he began to sharpen and better his skills, surpassing many inventors of his time. With government funding, he began to build several models of robots (with most AI) and was praised for his work. Although he is usually optimistic and brave, After the incident that gave his brother the robot body, he began to feel more and more depressed, hiding his feelings under his gung-ho cheerful attitude, believing it was all his fault that his brother was no longer human.

Appearance: He has brown hair and blue eyes. (When I do get to post art, I'll be able to be more in depth)

Abilities: After drafting into the organization, he became somewhat-skilled in hand to hand combat and firearms.

Weakness: He is human, thus, vulnerable. Also, he is frightened of thunderstorms.

Caleb

Height: 5'4 (When he was a human); 60 feet (Robot body)

Age: 15

Story: He is Solis's younger brother. A few years after he was born, both of their parents died and were taken into their aunt's custody. Unlike his brother, Caleb was a fairly normal boy, with a very kind heart and patience most adults didn't even possess. He supported his brother's advancements, aiding in sevral ways as possible. Unfortunately, when the incident with Subject-9 took place, he lost his human body and his mind (and soul to say) was transferred into the data-lacking mech, his memories, thoughts, and feelings filling in all of the data and thus, totally becoming he only true-human mech, due to the fact he truly was human and didn't have an AI. Despite the fact he will no longer be human, he copes with his new form and forgives his brother, as well as accompany him to help search for the Vestones and fight the Hiaxus (The latter with hesitance)

Appearance: As a human, he was a young boy who wore glases with brown hair and grey eyes. After converting to his robot body, he is a blue and green humanoid mech with two yellow optics, antennae like "horns" and is equipped with two large missile launchers on the side of his arms. Compared to most mechs, he has a somewhat slimmer build for agility and speed purposes.

Abilities: Due to the model he was given, Caleb is capable of moving up to speeds of 300 mph. He is also very agile, capable of doing aerial manuevers and flexible stunts bulkier models aren't able to do. He is also armed with large rocket-launching mechanisms on the sides of his ams, allowing him to use several missiles and lasers as weapons. Also, being 60-feet-tall is quite an advantage.

Weaknesses: Caleb is a reluctant fighter, usually hesitating before firing. Also, because his model is slimmer than others, what he has in speed and agility, he lacks for in strength, making him somehwat weaker than some robots (In comparison to the bulkier models. Giant robots are always strong) Despite being the only robot able to go against the 3 laws, he chooses to follow them in order to prevent harm to other humans, although at his dispense.

There are more characters, but I'm probably taking a lot of space. This anime idea came from the influences of Full Metal Alchemist (Alphonse somewhat = Caleb, Ed somewhat = Silos, G1 Transformers (not the movie), GGG (Gaogaigar; the ryu-gatas), and basicaly alot of the shows form the Brave series (Yuusha series, ex. Brave Police J-Decker, GGG, etc.)

Your ideas? :)

That's not bad at all (though a bit too FMA-ish), but makes me wonder: Have you thought seriously about bringing this story to life? If you do, (as I do with some ideas of mine) I think it best to keep your ideas until the time you can take them to fruition, to avoid plagiarism on one hand and losing the impact of what might be a novel idea on the other hand ;) That's why, I'll regrettably decline from posting my own ideas for the time being. I do encourage you to keep exercising your mind on this, I'd say you have a good approach to the whole process. Probably in the future you'll be creating something I'll enjoy reading/watching.

My approach to anime ideas (as an amateur writer I can't help it) is to write them up as short stories. It can be a lot of fun to write 'anime-style' fiction. I encourage you to give it a try.

Every story I'm writing has a heavy anime influence. I see all of my characters in anime form. It's a lot of fun, really. You should try writing out your ideas.

Yeah, I know it sounds really FMA-ish by the description, but story-wise with story progression, it is really different. It actually would lean more towards GGG, Megaman X or Full Metal Panic (Shoot, I forgot to leave them as refrences and influences too :bang:)as well as the fact that they're not really looking to find a way back to bring back one of my protagonists, but rather save the planet. I'm actually trying to learn how to draw mecha (as well as try a certain style of art); as well as thinking of chapters, situations, etc. of the story and drotting them down on paper. (i've even made my own theme song for the show, which I can do on the keyboard, but I really want to make lyrics in japanese for it.)

Thanks! I really hope I'll be able to make it a manga in the future.
