Rooting for the Angelika here in Dallas to bring in the subbed version. Actually, either version is fine. It's fun to watch these things on the big screen once in a while.

Definitely a big screen movie. I remember reading that when it ran in Japan, people would stand in the aisles just to watch it. Too bad it's in no theaters in my city. They air some movies every so often, such as the Bleach movie next month.

I'll go ahead and admit it, I never actually heard of this movie before. But when I saw the title of the thread I had to check it out....I actually figured it would be something about Inuyasha since the title of an early episode is "The girl who traveled through time"...perhaps that was a reference to the movie you guys are talking about.

My wife and I watched this and we really enjoyed it.

I was gonna post about this, but decided to search and see if there's a thread for it first. :)

The movie is more recent than Inu Yasha, though the book is kind of old. The title was likely a reference to the original book.

I wish it would come to theaters where I'm at. I think the last anime movie I saw in theaters out here besides Ponyo was GITS:2.
