MOD NOTE: PLEASE, USE SPOILER TAGS! Like this: [*spoiler]the stuff that could spoil things [*/spoiler] except you have to remove the *'s. Got it? Thanks!

If there's already been a thread like this, then I apologize.
What are some scenes in animes you've seen that made you cry, tear up, or otherwise get emotional? These could be scenes that made you sad, or happy, or angry, or whatever.

As for me:
Fullmetal Alchemist
Episode 7:
When Nina died
Episode 25:
When Hughes died, I cried so much! T_T
Episode 34 (I think):
When Greed died, I think I got tears in my eyes from Ed's reaction.
Episodes 50-51: The entire ending

Wolf's Rain
Basically, the entire ending made me cry.
Especially when Toboe died and Tsume said goodbye.
Haibane Renmei
I forget the episode, but I cried when
Kuu fluttered out of the story.
Escaflowne
Episode 24:
When Van brings Hitomi back to Gaia, it was so touching and dramatic! Squee!
So yeah. I basically spoiler-tagged everything, but those were the most tear-jerking moments for me ^^'

I'm drawing a blank. While I'm not saying Anime can't evoke emotions, I have yet to find any genuinely sad moments, aside from momentary shock from this or that character's untimely demise, which also holds true for me in real life as well.

Nausicaa was a little depressing towards the end, episodes 51 and 52 of Sonic X had me blinking back tears, as well as "Sweet Baby James" (like I'm going to say what that's from because I might get ridiculed for thinking it sad :P).

Oh, yeah! And episode 25 of Angelic Layer had me in tears because I totally could relate to what Misaki was saying.

Just about all of Fushigi Yugi. Also, the death of Tomoe in the RuroKen OVA (I'm not using spoiler tags because that's kind of like Aeris dying or Vader being Luke's father: if you don't know about it by now, you have been living under a rock).

Oh, and Lost Universe as a whole but for completely different reasons.

*pulls out list*

I have cried to countless series.

-Grave of the Fireflies.

-Voices of A Distant Star.

-The ending of Beyond the Clouds.

-During the ending to the first part of 5 Centimeters Per Second.

-A Little Snow Fairy Sugar.
The episode with Kanon and Saga. The whole episode but especially when Saga compares Kanon to herself when her mother was still alive. And the ending to the series left me crying all night.
-Spirited Away.
During the 3 minute train scene with the solemn piano music.
-Omohide Poro Poro.
During the scene when Taeko discovers her first love, the scene when her father hits her on the face for forgetting to wear shoes outside, and the ending.
There are a few more, but these are all I can remember at the moment.

Tear-Jerking? Well... can't say I've ever cried over an anime... but there are those times when you feel the emotion... you get moved by the emotion... like get goosebumps and such.

These are all Miyazaki movies:
Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind.... near the end
Castle in the Sky.... uh... a couple spots
My Neighbor Totoro.... near the end
Howl's Moving Castle.... near the end

(This would have been easier if it were video games)

Although not an episode, an AMV of Wolf's Rain set to the piece "...To die for" from The Lion King always makes me feel like crying.

As far as anime goes, the second-to-last episode of Gankutsuo where
Albert and Eugenie have to say good-bye because he only has enough money for one ticket to get away, and offers to let her use it. Then, they finally kiss, after all that time it took to admit they were in love with each other, and the complications that led up to them expressing it.
I haven't actually shed tears due to an anime thus far, but the first 6 episodes of Now and Then, Here and There left me really, really depressed (enough so that I still haven't gotten around to watching the rest)

End of season 1 of Sonic X....almost....
Baisically when Sonic and the crew have to go back to their world. It was especially hard for me not to cry when Chuck had to say goodbye to Tails. Then everyone was crying.....then of course Chris had to be all selfish, but I guess he finally understood in the end...
Just write "spoiler" in brackets at the beginning and "/spoiler" in brackets at the end.

I've never cried durning an anime, or a movie for that matter, though I have come very close in some instances.

Close calls:

Scrapped Princess

... and that's it.... Wow, only one huh? Oh well.

Ive had a couple of close calls:

Victory Gundam: many many moments in that series that you feel like your going to cry. such as
One ep you see a mother at her husbands grave and she just breaks down sobbing holding her husbands helment yelling out why he had to die, and Uso in the back ground of course felling like crap because he killed the guy
Gundam 0080: The last ep, come on, you know that moved you...

No series has ever moved me to tears, but the final 10 or so episodes of Zeta Gundam was very emotional for me. That's probably why it's my favorite anime.

Also from Gundam Seed when
Cagalli's Father died as Orb exploded; Mu La Flaga died protecting the Archangel; and Andrew Waltfeld and Aisha embrace right before Kira destroys their mobile suit
Robotech(Macross): Do you remember love
Episode: "Farewell Big Brother"

During an intense battle to turn away a Zentradie attack, ace pilot Roy Fokker is hit by a stray shot, lands and even pretends nothing is wrong as his love is making him his favorite dessert. While playing his guitar he passes on. That really got to me for some reason?

Vandread "The Second Wave"
Episode where Hibiki, Dita, and the rest attack an Earth mother ship with a computer virus. The dastardly robots of Earth manage to combine to form an evil copy of the Nirvana, but this one transforms into a giant robot itself. Well, deep side the mother ship Hibiki, Maya, Dita, Dura and Barnett are fighting this giant trying to give Piro time to infect the ship with the virus. Then Hibiki, Dita, Maya and Dura's ships are critically wounded and Hibiki tells Barnett to get out but she won't leave. He yells one more time, as the massive robot fires a devastating shot....it seems that everyone is killed in the explosion. Now that was a nail biter moment, and sad.

I love anime's with stories that can really enthrawl you.

I just finished watching "Chrono Crusade" and I have to say...
...The very last scene with Chrono and Rosette sitting together on the swing after they died holding hands and even the scene before when she's crying how she's scared to die...
Almost brought me to tears! It was just so beautiful how it was done and it brought a suitable, yet sad, ending to one of the greatest anime I've ever seen!

Oh, I'd forgotten about this thread! I should add that the final one or two episodes of Samurai Champloo got me emotional. I can't remember if I cried or not, though.
I think I probably cried when you think Jin died. At the part where Mugen is half dead already, and the guy in the wheelchair shoots him, I felt the same shock as if I had been shot myself. That's never happened to me before, and I probably came close to tears as I thought Mugen was dead. Funny how such a scoundrel can tug at your heartstrings, isn't it? I also got emotional when I thought Jin and Mugen had killed each other, and then found out that they were both still alive.
I also got emotional - though not quite teary-eyed - at the ending of Samurai 7.

FMA
When Nina Tucker is transmuted with the dog, and then killed by Scar. Also, when Maes Hughes died.
Blood+
When Mui (sp?) continues to play piano with her good hand in her mindless state.
Wolf's Rain
The whole ending was rough, but I found Hubb's death especially hard.
