Okay, remember once upon a time I said:

Well...I GOT IT! (Without giving away Star Trek: TMP...darn it.) All four volumes of The Candidate for Goddess! Only paid $18 for the (REAL) DVD's! I really missed this series, and it was great to see it again in all it's CG glory!

It has been on dvd for a bit. You should be able to find the Pilot Candidate Complete Collection box set and I think this is what Khaki got, right?

Hmmm...I knew this was on DVD but didn't know it was this cheap....it was one of the first anime shows I watched, and I enjoyed it (despite the fact that it was so short and had a rather disappointing ending as it just railed off). I'll have to pick this up sometime.

Yes, I remember this on Cartoon Network, it's ending just vanished into thin air and I was always left wondering what in the world happened to Zero Enna... I mean, it's anime so technically he could end up being kicked from the academy to drive things crazy or something like that (in fact I hope they would just to throw in a fun plot twist) but overall I'm happy you found the set and only wish that they would have completed the thing in it's entirety. *sigh* but I feel the same way about Invasion America, which was left (in book and in TV) at to be continued... someday... when funding returns. :P

Was this their pre-Digimon days or post-Digimon days?

Well...apparantly Zero became a pilot if the opening credits are to be belived. He's seen running down the hallway dressed in a Pilot's outfit while commanding the White Goddess.

I loved Pilot Candidate. This brings back fond memories of my 10 year old self sneaking out of bed to watch it on the big screen at midnight (ish?). I bought one of the DVDs a couple years ago. Just a bit ago, I realized this is the last DVD released in the english dub! WHERE IS THE ENDING?!

Turns out, Episode 13 'Friends', has never been released in English :(

Wow, i guess it is a bit older than I thought. I bought it because it is by the same author as DNAngel.

By the way, what is the content like and where did you find it?

Episode 13, as it was called. Was an OVA episode and it was one of the pilots reteling the story in their own words. It wasn't the ending to the also.

WHERE IS THE ENDING?!

Really, there is no ending to the show. My understanding is, the tv series was or maybe plan as a 26 episode series. But they only made 12 episodes to see how will it did and I think they hope that the OVA episode would draw people back in.

The series bomb in Japan and it bomb here in US.

I think that the only reason why they bought the series over here, was in hopes that Pilot Candidate would pull a Big O that would help rise funds to make more episodes.
