CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

A long time ago-- I had a vision. A vision of a future in which CAA would be a site that did not just have loving members and dedicated staff. No, I dreamed that it would be a place where all sorts of magical creatures could live without fear of having their pictures put on the internet, that it would be place where eating too much chocolate did not make you fat but instead cleared up your acne, and that it would be a place where there would be a fantastic Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha review.

And, thanks to Radical Dreamer, I now have one of the three. Thank you. Now, I can devote my time to fulfilling my other visions for the site! Thanks, Corrie!

There's actually a 3rd season of this show where they are in middle school (and no longer have flat chests)

Actually the nudity/panty shots in this show were a bit much in my opinion. The girls are too young to have hit puberty so it's definately less ... obvious then say a Sailor Moon transformation sequence but still I found it annoying.

Yeah, unfortunately, I wrote the review before finding out about that a couple of months ago, so thanks for mentioning it here. XD And I agree on the second point, too. That's why I rated it higher, and wrote the review--so people wouldn't confuse it with something that looked like CCS or something. XD

I watched Maho Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha and Nanoha A's. The series were enjoyable for the most part. I didn't care too much for the naked third-grader transformations but I watched anyway. It should also be noted that Nanoha is a spin-off of the Triangle Hearts OVA which, in turn, came from the Triangle Hearts "adult" game series.

Best magical girl series EVER!

I agree that this was overly-sexualized at times (the spa episode was entirely uncalled for), but the transformation sequence was downright gorgeous. And then you see the one in A's and HOO BOY! Sailor Moon just got kicked to the curb!

Ahem... regardless, the story is very well done, adding many unique and interesting elements to an otherwise worn-out genre. The relationship between Nanoha and Fate, though very strong, is also innocent. I know there's a lot of fantalk about Nanoha and Fate being a couple (and I'm not above saying I wouldn't mind seeing it in StrikerS). I like that it stays at a subtextual level so you can see how deeply Nanoha cares for Fate as a friend and vice-versa. The ribbons.... T_T

So yeah, Nanoha rocks out loud. StrikerS starts Sunday. STARLIGHT BREAKER, BABY! WOOOOOT!
