Well, it's about time it got liscened. And this is only the first season for now, BTW. I'm sure this one will be picked up quite quickly by fans^^

Shame it's only the first season. While not bad by any means, I found the second season much more enjoyable.

The first season is pretty much standalone whereas the second is still dangling in the wind waiting for someone to do something about it.
But, they certainly took their sweet time in licensing this awesome series.

SO I was just at AnimeSuki and noticed that Rozen Maiden Traumend WAS in fact, added to their list (by Geneon, of course). I wonder if/how they'll release Overture knowing it IS only 2 eps long... maybe it'll come with Traumend on the list disk or something (once if/it gets licensed, that is).

When they released Chobits, the added the two recap episodes on one DVD, so I don't see why they wouldn't do the same thing with Ouverture. I'm hoping they save the box for that and add a special figure too, preferably Suigintou ^^

But in Chobits, the 2 eps were actual episodes and were made during the series, so they really could be concidered part of 26 eps, rather than extras of a 24-ep series (although I noticed for Aa My Goddess TV, the recap ep was labeled as "ep 13b" or whatever ep it actually was^^ Not sure if they even added it into the DVDs... I wonder if the 2 TV specials will make it though?) But yeah, Rozen Maiden were TV Specials, rather than recaps during a series. A bit different, methinks^^
