Scamper the Penguin

Hey I was just wondering if anybody else has seen this movie...It's about an energetic penguin named Scamper who is always getting in trouble for wandering off...It was made by the studio that did Slayers and Saiyuki. Its a great film for the whole family. So is anybody else out there a Scamper fan??

Oh Scamper! No way! I thought I was the only person in the universe who knew that movie! I had no idea it was a Japanese film...I loved it to bits and bits when I was young. I used to sing the song from it, the one about penguins being shaped like a bottle...yup, it's so cute! I have drawings from when I was about seven years old that I did of the characters from that movie...isn't that the one where the whale dies? I think I remember being sad about something dying in Scamper. But I loved that movie. I've always loved penguins anyway. I'd love to see it again!

Rock on!! Another Scamper fan!! Yeah I was watching it and in the credits I noticed that it was all Japanese people who did it. Yeah I don't remember any whales dying in the movie...Last time I saw it was about a half a year ago or something. It was my fav movie growing up. I hope to get it this Christmas.
