Favorite Bones Studio Title so far

Postby rocklobster » Fri Jul 21, 2006 5:53 am

Note: I'm only sticking to titles that have been released stateside.
Bones Studio is quickly becoming one of my favorite studios. I love their lush color palette and the spirituality that pops up in so many of their titles. So which is your fave?

Bebop, without a doubt (though I haven't seen Angelic Layer, RahXephon or Mars Daybreak). But does that really count as Bones? They weren't even using that name then, were they? Correct me if I'm wrong.

I can't vote since I've only seen FMA. And only about 5 episodes at that.

RahXephon was pretty good. But I thought BONES did the Bebop movie, not the TV series.

You're right, it was. Bones started in 1998.

And Cowboy Bebop (TV) was done by Sunrise which joined Bandai Group in February 1994.

I have to go with RahXephon over Fullmetal Alchemist here for the simple reason
I think that RahXephon just works better on so many different levels. And of course there's Qoun..

Well, I haven't seen Agelic Layer, RahXephon, or Mars Daybreak. I don't like Eureka 7. Anyway, despite how much I like the CB movie and FMA, I voted for Wolf's Rain.

RahXephon is one of the best mecha series ever made.

RahXephon. Haven't seen Mars daybreak, Euereka 7 or Cowboy Bebop, but Rah is still VERY awsome^^

One of the most impressive episodes of any anime that I ever have seen was the one where Ayato and Asahina escape from Tokyo Jupiter and Asahina learns through a vision that she's really a Mulian. It's the one that ends in her death.
One of the saddest and bittersweet episodes of all time IMO.
