Nice deal. Heck, even Amazon.com is selling the Evangelion Thinpack for nearly half retail price.
Enjoy it while it lasts, guys.

That's cheaper than I paid for one of the original volumes.
Interesting to see so many series in cheaper packages... desperate for money or just wanting to milk a dead product?

Either way, I wuv seeing the old titles that I've been always wanting to get at a cheaper price^^ Finally able to get (and got) my own Rayearth boxsets now instead of those highly priced Memorial boxes^^
The cheaper it is, the better for us fans!

Is this a new Outlaw Star box, or did they just re-price the old one?

Wow! You guys are lucky. Here we're lucky if we can get a anime boxset for below $110!

Yeah, that box set costs like $60 at my Suncoast. I will probably order it online sometime. ^_^

I'd go with AnimeNation. They're prices are $26.98 for a single DVD and $53.98 for the boxset of Outlaw Star.

Ironically, one of Right Stuf's weekly specials this week is the Outlaw Star box set for $34.99. Pretty good buy, although the series is supposed to be rather objectionable (unlike the Toonami edit). Check out the review in the CAA database.

I would still go with AnimeNation. As far as it goes we need to remember that not everyone finds the same things objectionable.

Hence why I recommended reading the CAA review before purchasing.

I thought they stop taking the Outlaw Star - Perfect Collection Boxed Set over a year ago or longer?

Yes, in the uncut there was a lot of profanity, sexual references, alcohol abuse, violence and that Melfina girl was naked when she handled the ship.
I thought it bizzarre they chose to market THAT series on Toonami, and at the time wondered if they'd next edit a hentai for toonami with that much bad judgement.

Speaking of anime deals, ADVFilms.com every so often runs closeout sales. They've got one going right now through Dec. 23. (Usually the sales coincide with holidays, so you may want to bookmark the page.)

I've not actually purchased anything through one of these sales yet, but it looks like you can stock up on some stuff at real good prices. (Looks like a
really good time to buy if you're in the market for the RahXephon movie.)

Wow, thanks, freerock1!
I've bought stuff from two previous sales of these of from ADV, and I've been VERY happy both times. The delivery is a slow due to the high demand, but spending such a small amount on DVDs is worth it. Not even Right Stuf can beat these deals, so I highly recommend checking into it.
