Bleach fandub!

For those of you that might not know a fandub is when fans of a show cut out clips of an anime episode and put in their own voices, background music, and sound effects. A loooong time ago my sister and I made a Scrapped Princess fandub, but it was so much work we couldn't summon the willpower to make another one until now. Well we're much faster at it now and we're hoping to continue to make some more in the future, if you're interested in joining us as a voice actor/actress I will eventually get a page up about how to apply. But for now just enjoy the clip!

Bleach clip - File Size: 63.5M
Even though it happens in one of the first episodes, this one is a small spoiler just to warn you. Also there is a bit of cursing in the subtitles (since we use a fansub for the video), but the actual voices don't curse.
Voices-
Orihime, Shun'ou, Ayame - my sister (she has a account on here but she's not active)
All the other voices - me (yes I did the guy voices too, but we used filters to make it sound more... guyish  )

Old Scrapped Princess Clip - File Size: 30.8
I'm putting this one up just in case anyone wants to see it. It's from the first episode so it's not really a spoiler. Some minor swearing in this one again. Actually I think you should watch this just to hear Mithrandir do the priest guy. Not only does he sound almost exactly like the priest in the official English dub, but he actually did a better job in my sister's and mine opinion. ;)
Voices-
Pacifica - my sister
Priest - Mithrandir
Raquel - me
Shannon - Rashiir
Chris - umm some guy who doesn't go here

The Scrapped Princess clip is in some special format that should work on just about any platform but the Bleach one is a .avi only file right now. If I can remember what program I used to covert it last time I'll make another version. Oh and expect to see some Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne fandubs from us soon (if Ashley decides to lend us her voice, lol)

Heh interesting. I always thought it would be fun to try some voice acting, just to see if your voice would fit the role and all^^ Yeah I'd do fandubs for fun if I had to right equipment to do it, like a mic :/

Reminds me... heard of this dude usernamed FET? He used to have a site called "Floppy Eared Terriermon's Fan Dubbin" and would fandub Digimon clips/eps. Although... think it had to close down cause the companies didn't like a redubbing of the stuff :/ ...or somethin :/

Ooh, you have an awesome voice, madam. :D

And Mith did a darn good job as the priest dude.

I've been told I'd make a good voice actor. Of course, I've also been told I talk too fast.

MALE VERSION OF EXCEL!

To be honest, I wish to critique the bleach one. Inoue's voice was.... a lot lower. In the anime her voice is a lot higher (and more airheaded too) and the dark black male fairy guy was too high. The part where they say "I reject" it was eh.... not too good, lacked emotion

But I know this is only a fandub XD keep it up!

:thumb: Hey, good work on those. Sounds like fun. I liked Inoue's voice. ;) The key is to be true to the character not the Japanese/U.S. official voice actor. well done Myrrh. :)

Yeah that's the real point in official dubbing actually, to try to stay true to the character not to try to mimic the Japanese voices. That's why there was such a big fuss over Ed's voice from Fullmetal Alchemist. :)

Although yeah Tsubaki or however you spell his name (the black fairy... thing) turned out bad. I was mad with how it was turning out as I was recording it actually, but making a guy voice is really really hard! (Although I think I did get his "shut up" line down perfectly.) ;)

Really I just hope that after watching this everyone will want to go and find out more about Bleach. :thumb: (or Scrapped Princess, lol)
