Now That AU's On Weekends Only...?

Postby mitsuki lover » Wed Aug 31, 2005 1:49 pm

So my question to those others who also watch Anime Unleashed is this:
Now that AU is on a weekends only schedule what are you watching
during the time you would normally watch AU?
Me,I am watching Shinzo(Toon Disney)and Dragonball Z Uncut(Cartoon
Network).
Note:I live in the Pacific time zone so AU was normally on at
10 and 10:30 p.m. :)

Well so far RahXephon is the only series I am looking forward to watching on the
new but not improved AU.Although Cromartie High School looks like a decent enough comedy.
And I know what you mean..on occasion I find myself zonking out in the middle of
Inuyasha or Fullmetal Alchemist.

Isn't AU being thrown in with that Barbed Wire block? I caught just the last part of that last Friday night I believe and had to quickly switch it off. Not really suitable for younger audiences by any stretch. G4 has really gone downhill with the titles they are putting on AU (Abenobashi, Colorful, etc.). I've pretty much given up on it.

Well yes it is part of the Barbed Wire Biscuit or whatever it is called. They're only
showing it Fridays at Midnight(eastern)/9:00(pacific)and then 3:00(eastern)/Midnight
(pacific)and then on late Sunday early Monday at 4:00(eastern)/1:00(pacific).
RahXephon doesn't look too bad which is why I plan to watch it tonight.
Btw:ADV also owns the Anime Network so I wonder if we will be seeing more
AN series on AU.

I knew Cromartie was on Anime Network (I think I mentioned that in the Network TV thread, but I was forgetting that RahXephon also is, and so apparently is Colorful (per theanimenetwork.com).

So I'm wondering what kind of relationship G4 is developing with ADV. Hopefully one for the better.
Theme Scripture: Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. (Galatians 5:1)

And a verse for all us single folks: Do we have no right to take along a believing wife, as do also the other apostles, the brothers of the Lord, and Cephas? (1 Corinthians 9:5)

All I know is that they signed some kind of deal.Interesting enough we've already
seen at least one ADV series on AU already this past year when Magical Shopping
Arcade Abnobashi aired.
If anyone is curious just go to the official ADV website and they have a list of their
series.
I would love G4 to retain The Soultaker and then air it's spinoff Nurse Witch
Komugi!

I would love to start watching AU, but the channel over here is messed up. It keeps freezing like on a DVD. I'm not sure how many episodes of Rah-Xehphone I've missed either!!! Waaaah, I'm missing it all!!!

They've only shown the first four so far.The first two are in Jupiter Tokyo and the
third and fourth ones are when they finally get out into the Real World. The shots
of the view of the outside of Tokyo Jupiter are stunning. Also for some reason the
time is different between the outside and the inside.
