Post here some really good anime that are very little-known.
I hear the Master of Mosquiton OVA is really good (currently downloading).
And if it weren't for me, none of you would know what Giant Robo is. :thumb:

Now And Then, Here And There!

If it weren't for CDL and me (mainly CDL though) aboot knowbody would know of this awesome series. I totally recommend it to anybody who can handle some brutal drama.

Don't Leave Me Alone Daisy -- Pretty good little romantic comedy, although it's more of a love-it, hate-it kind of show. Some will love it, others will hate it, and there's no real in-between. But I'm pretty sure that it's a relative unknown.

I was actually keeping up with this series when it was on the International Channel. But they got rid of that and Blackjack (which counts towards me adding a little known anime) when the channel was changed to the AZN channel. Now I'll never know what happens next! :mutter:

Where did it leave off?

I'm pretty sure you can find it pretty easily for rent.

I'll add Irresponsible Captain Tylor. I don't know that it's unknown, but I really doubt that as many people have seen this as should. It probably gets written off by most people because it's from the early 90s. It has lots of 80s-90s pop-culture refrences in it that not everyone may catch.

Dude, Full Moon Wo Sagashite. I'm pretty sure I got at least 60% of the fans here at CAA hooked on it. It's a jewel of a series, but then again pretty much ANY Tanemura anime is A-unknown and B-awesome

Otogizoushi. The series has yet to be licenced in the US, to my knowledge, and I'm not sure whether it ever will be, but it's a fascinating anime.

It actually is licensed in the US now, Kaori. Search for it and you find a volume or two that are available. Except they slightly renamed it as "Otogi Zoshi" seperated em and took out the "u" which makes it confusing.

Uhm, I'd have to say Spriggan. That is one amazing action flick.

Yeah, I have you and Gypsy to thank for that.

Also, Gypsy introduced me to Saint Tail. Although out of print now I was able to get it all on ebay and found it to be a really nice series.

Speaking of Full Moon, I watched that just recently and I think it's wonderful, but until then I thought Ashley was insane. How could she get so worked up about a show about a magical girl pop singer? I think that happens to all of us fans at one point or another - unless people are in on it with you, you look like you're two steps off the deep end.

On that note I would like to recommend Futatsu no Spica. It's the heart-wrenching tale of a girl and her emotionally stunted ghost astronaut.

The plot of Spriggan was not anything exceptional, but I do agree that it is a good action movie.

Has anyone seen Seraphim Call? ^^ A couple of the epis touch on some sensitive subjects (namely the 2 twins episodes, i dont like those at all T_T) but overall it's pretty nifty!

Harukanaru Toki no Nake de~Hachiyou Shou~ Seems to be not very popular. I like it though, kinda clicheish and a bit like Fushigi Yugi but still good.

Like what? O.O I've been a bit curious about this series, I bought the soundtrack on a whim and it wasn't to bad.
happy go luck monkey!

"Venus Wars," I saw this at the video store. Is it any good???

My favorite unknown anime is... let me think. I guess right now I'd say it's "The Heroic Legend of Arislan" because I just watched the second part of that. I don't really know though!!!!!!

Pita-Ten-my favorite anime ever
Rizelmine-a bizarre, albeit pretty good series that I bought on a whim
Clamp Campus Detectives-I love this series! The boys are such sweethearts! Peony Pink's one of my favorite theme songs.

I love that anime. The ending song's so pretty. I have a site dedicated to it, but unfortunately, until I can buy my domain, it's not uploaded to the Internet.

Madoking Grandzort.

It was oh so famous back in the days, now it is labelled as the Forgotten Anime. Google brings up merely 600ish links.

The anime involved in this guy going to the moon, getting lost, and meeting with the rabbit people (folk lore thing that rabbits live on the moon). He hates carrots. He then has to ride this robot to save them rabbit people from certain doom!

(I also don't know what XD means. It seems to take me a while to figure out internet speak.)
