They did good with the animation. At first I thought it really was Japanese. Not that it matters. I liked it.

The first american anime show that actually does a good job at giving the illusion. Great show.

It's okay, but kind of odd. Is that big six-legged fuzzy creature a bison or something...?

Muah, that Firebender kid would be kinda cute if he weren't evil...
Heart of Sword's Rhapsody

Money, get away
Get a good job with good pay and you're okay
And all and all you're just another brick in the wall
Shoutin’ in the street gonna take on the world some day
But Bismallah will not let me go
Because I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

Tommy used to work on the docks
Union's been on strike
Bright eyes burning like fire
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids

Who will love a little Sparrow
Who's traveled far and cries for rest
Spare him his life from this monstrosity

I've seen a million faces and I've rocked them all
And if the band youre in starts playing different tunes
We will we will rock you
We will we will rock you!

I think they're doing a great job with it! I've seen all the episodes (love you Tivo!!!) and so far I've been pretty impressed. I love it! ^^ Can't wait for them to get farther into it.

The animation is very good too. I like that. The different cultures are interesting too. I can't wait to see normal fire people instead of all the soldiers. I'm interested in how they'll be portrayed. I was also impressed by the portrayal of the firebender guy (the "evil" one). It was neat how the delved into his character more. Do I suspect a future friend? A little....

so I'm looking forward to the next episode ^^ I was waiting for a thread on this show to start.

It's a good series, although I rarely watch nick, since I am an adult actually, but then again, it's their first anime, and the latest episode was funny, I did like the fight scene. Go Ang, Ang's my favorite character, that crazy kid/ penguin fanatic!

I saw it yesterday because Stargate SG1 wasn't on and they were rerunning
Battlestar Galactica's last three eps. leading up to the season finale.
Overall I thought the interesting part of the ep. I saw was where he had to
figure out the old man's name from the tests he had been put through.
Interesting show, but I doubt I would watch it all the time.

The one big problem though is that they're airing it the same time as Sci Fi Channel has it's biggest night. This is the biggest reason I don't watch it.Have to watch
Stargate SG1 and Stargate:Atlantis.

I love Stargate! Unfortunately I only have free TV (not NZ's version of cable, which is Sky TV), so we have about... hmm... three or four decent channels, which means I'll have to wait forever until they play the next season. Aside from that, I was pretty interested in Avatar when I heard about it -but again, I'll have to wait to see what it's like when it comes out here.

*reviveth*

YES!! I loved ep 13 and I was SOOO right about this ep. *happy happy happy* I'm very glad they're developing Zuko's character. Once again, I'll mention that I expect him to join up with Aang and the rest sooner or later *griiin*

I'm upset about only getting a new show every other week T___T I don't like waiting that long!!
