Great review, Rogie! ^___^ I've really enjoyed this anime, as well and still need to finish watching it. However, it has been one of the most fun anime I've seen. From what I have seen, I think you hit the nail on the head in your review.

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

I loved your review of Comic Party, I bought the first volume but I never got around to buying the rest of them, I might go do that.

Oh, as an extra bit of info, there was an OVA of Comic Party released in Japan, called Comic Party Revolution. It's about 4 episodes I think. I haven't really seen it, so I really don't know the content.

Thanks! Actually, I think that the 4 mini-episodes I mention in the review are that OVA, and they were probably released along with the Japanese release of the DVDs (which was substantially larger -- something like 7 or 8 discs for 13 episodes!), which would still make them OVA material, instead of TV episodes. Someone may need to clarify that, but all I've found is the TV series and the mini-episodes.

I saw the first few episodes. It was hilarious.
Heart of Sword's Rhapsody

Money, get away
Get a good job with good pay and you're okay
And all and all you're just another brick in the wall
Shoutin’ in the street gonna take on the world some day
But Bismallah will not let me go
Because I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

Tommy used to work on the docks
Union's been on strike
Bright eyes burning like fire
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids

Who will love a little Sparrow
Who's traveled far and cries for rest
Spare him his life from this monstrosity

I've seen a million faces and I've rocked them all
And if the band youre in starts playing different tunes
We will we will rock you
We will we will rock you!

[Pink Floyd fan listening to Queen and hugging trees which is also known as taking care of God's creation with a pair of headphones on listening to Nightwish as loud as possible while writing a novel on a computer in the middle of a field filled with Wolves.]

[Bassist...finally learning Money]

I could understand that you think the mini episodes are the OVA, I've seen the ep on that dvd. I looked Comic Party Revolution up, this looks different, because the fansubs on AnimeSuki popped up in my Google Search. I'm not suggesting anyone should go download it, but if it's on AnimeSuki, it's unliscensed material.

Yeah, I did a little searching of my own, and Comic Party Revolution is an OVA separate from the TV series. In fact, according to AniDB (a search result), the OVA is closer to the manga and features Kazuki and others in college, whereas the TV series has them in high school. The way they talk, it also seems to be more closely related to the hentai game.

So, if it ever does get licensed, it will probably be one to avoid, since it tells the story a different way and probably with far more objectionable content. But that's just an early guess. :)

I'll agree with you there, looking at it, it might relate more to the h-game. It's still good to keep people informed, especially what to maybe avoid. They could buy on impulse and get something they didn't expect.
