i recommend those who have not seen the entire series to STAY AWAY from this topic. It will spoil a lot.

[spoiler]what do you think happened to Envy? Trying to go to our side of the world? Perhaps he died? Unlike Ed, who appeared at London, and back because his soul went to the other side. He was human. Envy was a homonculus. And envy's body isnt his original body either. Any thoughts?[/spoiler]

[spoiler]one thing the series is rather clear on is that hommoculus do not have souls. i would go so far as to say the link to the other world resides in the soul which is why homoculus cannot use alchemy except for the boy who has stolen a part of a human(wrath i think). eps 51 is the end of the series btw, what do you mean, what's next? they are making a movie but the preview had al in armor so its probably like cowboy bebop's movie and takes place in the middle of their adventrue. if they continue it the homoucli and their coordinator is dead. it is a much simplier world, at least as far as we know and they would have a hard time having the brothers get together, unless al figures somethign out. that would be cool. have you heard news of a second season? thanks! hope this helped!
