wow.....i just finished watching the first DVD of lain....that was really strange...and not random just...wierd...almost as weird as EOE....so yeah...if anyone tell me whether or not it gets better or starts making more sense...it would be greatly appreciated

I myself was ready to give up on Lain about halfway through, but stuck with it and was greatly rewarded. There are others, though, who feel that the series would have been better if it had stopped at ep. 8 or 9 and ended there. So, in my opinion, it's probably best to go through the rest of the series and judge for yourself. But, you are right, it is a series that requires a great deal of patience at first.
