As to the question of whether there is "anything really objectionable," I would answer no. About the three most objectionable things seen on the dvd was what could have been a bloody ankle (or were those curcuits, or both?) brief nudity of a robot seen in an inspection of a factory, and swear words.
That is what I thought, I merely did the list to show that there was little objectionable in the entire movie. Having listened to the soundtrack, I would also say paying for the special edition is well worth it just for that.ZIPO_MASTER* wrote:Ok, well I can handle that stuff easily. As long as it's nothing like the mega-nude movie.

Also something I noticed. I had first asked how someone could go about so many places in their underwear, and then the design of modern clothing of today as opposed to older clothing occured to me.mechana2015 wrote:Motoko's clothing is a bit skimpy.
Curious, if my memory serves me right the Shinto religion doesn't do funerals at all.mechana2015 wrote:All funerals are Buddist or Shinto in nature that are shown.
I don't know the rules around here about spoilers and will treat this like Gamefaq's rules on spoilers and will attatch my comments at the end.mechana2015 wrote:There is one incedent reguarding drinking and switching brains between people (male to female) but it isn't addressed in detail.
Umm...what exactly would you do with a sentient tank? I agree though on their hilarity, I liked the Tachikomatic Days at the end of each episode because they often served as an internal parody.mechana2015 wrote:Final note... I want my own Tachikoma! They're hilarious.
Dunno...I was kinda guessing on the religeon there. There are spoiler codes, much like the quote codes, but I dont currently remember them (check in FAQ's for that)GhostontheNet wrote:Curious, if my memory serves me right the Shinto religion doesn't do funerals at all. So long as you have a use for it I guess.mechana2015 wrote:Use it for a computer/car/assistant for programming and mechanical things... I dont need the guns really.
Correct, only one brief scene showing a nude and perhaps recently manufactured robot.Kite wrote:So none of that muscles bending and tearing while nude stuff from the movie right?
awsam007 wrote:Also, since people have raved about Kano's score in this show, I'm assuming the music comes into play after episode 1 as well? The first one hardly had any background music to speak of, let alone a good score.
