anime that SCARED you?

I fell off my chair and screamed the first time Dokuro whacked Kouta's head off in Dokuro-chan. (You get used to it after awhile, it's just that first time that really does it.) I haven't seen it, but I've heard adult men are afraid of this new show called "The Moment the Cicadas Cry". I thought Elefen Lied would scare me from all I'd heard about it, but it was just gory. I thought some parts are actually kind of funny, but it's in really bad taste; like when there were bleeding heads flying across the room in the first episode. It kind of scares me that I think that's funny. I was unfortunate to come across a hentai anime on accident that involves violin bows. Ouch. Lots of things in the anime fandom scare me. Fanart "body-morphs" where girls' breasts are REALLY out of proportion scare me. I could go on forever, but this is already getting really gross so I'll stop here. (Oh, my poor brain! )
