Utter, utter crap.

Zoro ( oh EXCUSE ME! It's ZOOOLOOO now >>]

It`s called 4kids not 4thesameaudiencesastheoriginal. They changed it so kids would like it and they did a good job. Sure, the show is crap compared to the sub but at least they made the show more popualr by having kids like it too.

Problum is, they should realese a translated original as well so it could be popular from children`s eyes and older audience`s eyes.

Kids don`t care about VAs so they probably put no effort into it.

BTW,they are about to get the Grand Line in dub. Is the series almost over?!

They are already in the Grand Line. Whiskey/Misty Peak, Drum Island, and Alabasta are all in the Grand Line.
And no, the series is not "almost over" considering that neither the anime or manga is finished in Japan (or even close to being finished actually, at this rate.)

Your guess is as good as mine. Dragon has only ever appeared in the Loguetown/Roguetown arc so far. He's the most mysterious character in One Piece. Only things known about him are that he's some sort of "revolutionary" and that the government has been persuing him for awhile.

How's Dragon related to Luffy and why did he go out of his way to make sure
he escaped?

Yeah, I've heard Family. And by this post, I've also listened to the "We Are- Straw Hats" version. I couldn't get all of the voices straight but I'll just assume that the lowest sounding one was Zoro and the strangest sounding one was either Usopp or Chopper.

I could tell most of them (I think...).

If it's the one I'm thinking of... Ending 13 - "Dreamship."

Yeah, that's it. I went back and found it.

They are already in the Grand Line. Whiskey/Misty Peak, Drum Island, and Alabasta are all in the Grand Line.

Yeah, reaching the Grand Line is currently less than 1/4th of the series.

He'll definetly show up again, we just don't when, where, or why, or even if he's connected to Gol D. Rogers (though it's possible).

As posted before, we dunno.

Usopp makes me want to stick a lit cigarette into my ear canal, and I just can't stand the dorkyness of it. Geez, it's to lame for me to even watch for laughs anymore; I usually just sleep in.

And i am assuming you really hate Usop, seeing as he is your avatar. There was no point to bringing this thread up when there is another One Piece thread up and going.

Actually, Usopp is my favorite character. I was referring to his dubbed voice, since this thread is about the dub and not One Piece in general. You should be glad I know how to use the search button, yes? :)

I am very proud of you. Usop, unfortunately is my least favorite character (Other than Wapple). Considering this is the dub, I will conclude Zolo is my favorite character. (Zoro sounds dumber when you pronounce it, but Zolo looks dumber in text).

Zolo always makes me think of candy, both in text and articulated. *cough cough* Zoro's cool though. I totally dig his dubbed voice. Nami too. I can't stand Luffy or Usopp in the dub, but I do sort of like Sanji's estranged voice.

Oh! And it's Wapol, not Wapple. Not that it's important of course, but hey.

Dude, the One Piece dub is the best dub I've ever heard in my life.

Forget Cowboy Bebop.

Oh, yes! It's amazing! And Zolo is so cooollll!!!!1 But Usob is a wimp but Chomper is awesome with his Rubber Ball!!!1

XP

Usopp is a great character in the original, but he's just flat out annoying and pathetic in the dub. Darn you again, 4Kids... oh well. Here's still hoping they WILL cancel it...
You can't convince Tom of anything. :l
