The most annoying Anime voices

One of the reasons I perfer the Tenchi sub over the dub is that in the dub Ayeka sounds way too upperclass Brit and Ryoko sounds too American.But the winner IMO of the most annoying voice is the dub voice for Rini in Sailor Moon Super S.

I have to disagree with ya there! I just started watching GetBackers, and I actually like Genji's voice! It matches well with the character!

Ha Ha I know...Ash sounds like an old woman with bronchitus...no offense to the person doing the voice

Maybe that was the idea with Ayeka. She did kinda have that "I'm SOOOO much better than you" attitude most of the time.

As far as Ryoko goes, I had no problem with her voice on the original Tenchi Muyo series dub, but when the new one came out, and I heard her voice...one word came to mind...

XDD and your earlier comment about Inuyasha was sooo right!! ughh.. I counted 10 "Inuyashas" on the Last episode...and like 8 Kagomes...

I now know why Inuyasha wouldn't say her name in the first 3 episodes... He knew how often he would be saying in in the next 162!! :X

I'm willing to bet that in the Richard Ian Cox household, the name Kagome is NEVER spoken for fear of complete meltdown. I once counted how many "Inuyashas" and "Kagomes" were in any given episode, and I came up 25 "Inuyashas" in one episode ALONE! That's about one every minute!

There were more times than just the laughing scene in FFX that made me snigger :lol:

What I find amazing is how I still like Tidus even after enduring several scenes like that. WORSE than that. Like, "I wanted someone...anyone...beside me, so I wouldn't be alone anymore." Or, "Uhh...huuungryyyy...."
However, I must say that he did much better in the scenes that counted, the dramatic scenes (especially with his father).

I love the series, but I think most of the voices of the cast in the English version of Angelic Layer were horrid. I also can't stand listening to the English version of Ayeka, from the Tenchi series. I mean, come on! They gave her a British accent! And a royal one at that!

Really? I thought they got Ryoko's voice head-on. It seems like a perfect match for the way she acts and so forth. The main reason I have a problem with Ayeka's voice in the dub is because they didn't give Sasami a similar accent. If they had done that, then I could just assume that that was the way Juraian's talked. But they didn't. It's just Ayeka. That is what bugs me.

Furubas dub is bad! I don't (!plz don't shoot me!) like the old FOX dub on My Neighbor Totoro *runs and hides* I JUST DON'T!!!

Heh. Yeah, I guess it was. I always figured my aversion to it was just because I'd seen the whole thing subbed first. If you see it first in one or the other, you'll often think the second sounds sily. Of course, the AL dub wasn't bad enough to make me want to crush rocks with my teeth, but ones that bad are few and far between.

one of the most annoying voices i have heard is the main bad guy on Spiral. i cant think of his name but he is like the oldest of the blade children and he had some horrible accent that made him sound like a cowboy or something. I just never thought it went with the way he looked.
