Hm, that's interesting. None of the male characters really look like women to me; the shapes of their faces are wrong for that.

Just thought I would drop in and post my two cents on FF7AC:

I have yet to see any DVD with moving pictures that is as cool as this. Hey if Star Wars had fights like this it would be perfection incarnate.

This movie ruled hardcore. Tifa rocks and Cloud has some serious upper arm strength.

FF7 was never my favorite Final Fantasy, and I'm sure that had a hand in my overall enjoyment of the movie. It was worth it to see Zack and Reno, though.

I never played the game so I guess thats why I didn't really care for this. I thought it was pretty boring as well. I was not into the story at all (if there even was one =/). I did llike the fight scenes though. But I thought the ending was lame... talk about a perfect example of a deus ex machina. I even watched the movie twice and I still don't really care for it...

It seemed to me that the general concensous that if you liked the game then you liked the movie. One of the key things that Nomeru (I think it was Nomeru) said at the initial release press conference that this was designed to be a foolow for the hardcore fans and not something that would bring new fans to the series.

Personally I thought it was amazing (I've watched the Japanese version 5 times and the English version 4). everything was so inventive from the way clouds sword all clip together to form 'Ultima Weapon' to Bahumat appearing to even the litle details like clouds freckles/

It was a nice refresh back into a world I used o love and have spent so long away from. The one things I can't get over is that advert for 'Dirge of Cerberus' all about Vincent, it looks SOOOOOO kewl!!
