Ouran defeating Haibane Renmei... the mind reels. I can almost hear it making clicking sounds like the claws of a puppy frantically trying to find purchase on a tiled floor while being dragged into a whirling machine of bladed death.

Hey Maokun, could you print up the day's score above the big grid this time around?

The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (Difficult decision, since I love them both, but nevertheless TGWLLT clearly comes out on top for me.)

Group H
Summer Wars (Man, I really need to see both of these films with English subtitles, because there was a lot of dialogue I didn't understand. Neither one is a particular favorite of mine, but I guess I will pick Summer Wars.)

Paprika (2006) This was a hard one, specially knowing that this particular match will define which of the two titles will go trough. I'm sorry Kaiba, you were strangely beautiful and made me think interesting thoughts but the undeniable amount of flaws in your execution drags you down in this vital decision...

Group B
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (2009) This is, sadly, not a vote in favor of FMA:B or against MA, but in favor of TTGL...

Group C
Baccano! Phew, an easy one at last

Group D
Puella Magi Madoka Magica (2011) Another easy one

Group E
Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion (2007) Fanboyism, ho! If Ouran deserves a place in the finals, Geass does too!

Group F
The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (2006) Aaaargh, hardest of the round yet but my weakness for time travelling fiction will decide.

Group G
Tokyo Godfathers (2003) More like Nope-in, am I right? J/king Noein is cool and all, but TG will warm your heart through several winter nights.

Group H
Summer Wars (2009) Tsk... T-this... doesn't mean that I like you or anything, Hats! *runs away*

Gaaaaaah abstain.

Group B
Also abstain.

Group C
Baccano! (2007) -- Haven't seen Birdy, but nobody's tried to really sell it and Baccano is fantastic.

Group D
Macross Frontier (2008)--Madoka is way superior and beats practically anything/everything it faces to an absurd degree, so this is a little bit spite, but it's mostly in memory of Wings of Goodbye.

Group E
Mawaru Penguindrum (2011) -- Admittedly I need to see this again to really "get it", but it still holds a special place in my heart for expanding my horizons. Also it's gorgeous artistically.

Group F
Abstaining because I think both have flaws but are really, really great and fantastic otherwise and I just can't pick which is "better" overall.

Group G
Abstain since my memory of Tokyo Godfathers isn't great and I haven't seen Noein.

Group H
Summer Wars (2009) -- Both are awesome, fantastic, wonderful, but Summer Wars almost makes me tear up because family. ;w;
