The first one being "Vash the Stampede". No, wait, I lied. "Paradise" can also be considered a fanservice ep. I almost DIED. Then I went, "Wow. Studio MADHOUSE can't draw all that well."

Um. What about "Goodbye for Now"?

Wan't he playing a different song when the Roderick (sp?) Gang came into the bar?

P'shaw. Maybe just a little.

<<Wasn't he playing a different song when the Roderick (sp?) Gang came into the bar?>>
If there was one time where he played a different song, it was while Legato-sama was killing the Rodericks. Oddly enough, I've also seen it spelled "Roadwreck".

O_O How can you call "VtS" and "Paradise" fanservice and go "p'shaw" to "GfN"?! It's like shirtless versus butt-nakedness!

Oh. I forgot about that. What kind of fangirl AM I?! The kind that's not really attracted to Vash, I suppose. ^^;; I was thinking of his angst session when you said "Goodbye For Now".
However, the manga contains more Knives-sama fanservice that you can shake an Angel Arm at.

Yeah. At least he drew it as tastefully as it could have been drawn. That way I don't have to blush and look away as much. From what I've seen, though, I don't think there's much more fanservice coming.

May I interrupt your wonderful little conversation to ask how many instances of fanservice, whether "butt-nakedness" or "shirtless", there are total?

One Wolfwood shirtless, one Vash shirtless, one Vash naked (but no frontal view), and one pretty low shot of Knives' bare abdomen. But none of those were actually sexual scenes... unless you could understand the phrase "eating sandwiches" in the Wolfwood one. x_X

I wonder what kind of sandwiches they were, anyway. I mean the real ones! Not the...other...ones.

Let's keep from going too far down that road, shall we? And for that matter, I could really care less, as the sandwiches are not the point of the scene. I'm unbiased in my sandwich-hate.
...
I have actually wondered what kind of sandwiches they were, though. For all we know, the sandwiches were just a clever ruse devised by Millie...that hussie. XD Joking, joking. If I didn't laugh, I might have exploded.

XD For some reason, I can't imagine Milly doing that. Well, hey, I had a hard time imagining Milly eating sandwiches like that, too, so I guess my opinion doesn't mean much.

I'm still watching it...it's pretty funny. I almost had a laughing stroke when Meryl and Milly saw his scars. I was a bit like "O.O" at first, but then I was almost on the floor...I don't know why, that was just really really funny...'cause they kind of...fell over... And his face was chibified. That was good...but what was that he was wearing? Was that a BOA?

Vash: AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! (you gotta love his scream laugh ^o^)

It's scary...*hides*
I think it's more like "YAIHAIHAIHAI! YAIHAIHAHA!" o_O

Oh, and by the way, the other night, my father and I were goofing off and he was tired and guess who he laughed like? Vash. I swear...:dizzy:
Heart of Sword's Rhapsody

Money, get away
Get a good job with good pay and you're okay
And all and all you're just another brick in the wall
Shoutin’ in the street gonna take on the world some day
But Bismallah will not let me go
Because I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

Tommy used to work on the docks
Union's been on strike
Bright eyes burning like fire
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids

Who will love a little Sparrow
Who's traveled far and cries for rest
Spare him his life from this monstrosity

I've seen a million faces and I've rocked them all
And if the band youre in starts playing different tunes
We will we will rock you
We will we will rock you!

I know exactly what you mean. *Why, God, why?!* I mean, I just don't think she has the capacity for that kind of...um, relationship. At least, not so fast, you know? People are always going, "Oh, by the end of the series, you see how she has a deep personality, and she's a very strong person, blah blah blah..." I just don't see it. *Why Millie?! Couldn't it have at least been Meryl, or Dominque?! WHY?!* I mean, really, as I've previously stated, I lay the blame elsewhere *...* but still, he wouldn't have done it if she didn't want to.

As I have no clue about that to which y'all have been referring to over the past few posts, I'll comment on the latest ep: Rem Saverem. (or at least the last one I've seen. Haven't gotten a chance to watch Goodbye for Now yet.)

Lots of great background there...even if Rem was rather annoying, to put it frankly. Interesting to finally see Knives and all, but the best part was getting to find out just what the heck is up with Vash's history. Now I know. =)

And, interestingly enough, that was the first ep rated TV-14 for sexuality. I guess because Mary pretended to be raped, right? I still don't fully understand what happened with all of that. Did Knives talk Mary and the Glasses-Guy into lying so that the one guy (Steve, I think?) would be frozen or what?

Yes.

Yes. And yes, it is Steve. And the "Glasses-Guy" is Rowan.

Any more questions? ^_^

Although Lunis seems to have cleared that up, I would like to helpfully add that I have absolutely no idea. The whole thing confuses me greatly, and I can't wait until the manga gets far enough to explain it somewhat. However, they do pick the animation back up from the trash it was last episode.

*clears throat* Ummmm. Sorry, Angel. It won't. It goes pretty differently in the manga. There is no Joey, Rowan, or Steve.

Don't bother. ^^ I'm always confused about something or other, but I figure it out eventually. If you set out to clear up all my Trigun-related confusion, we'd be here until...forever.

I expected as much. However, sometimes I get a better idea of things after seeing the manga version of events, or vice versa (sp?).

Whoops. I forgot to mention no Mary, either. ^_^]However, sometimes I get a better idea of things after seeing the manga version of events, or vice versa (sp?).[/QUOTE] (The spelling looks okay to me.) I know what you mean. And sometimes, when I have a question about the anime, I look to the manga for help. Like if there's something the anime didn't mention, I just assume it went the same as it did in the manga. For example, I assume there are plants with different functions in the anime, as there are in the manga.

Mmm. For instance, I didn't figure out where Vash hurt his finger before fighting Dominique in the manga until I saw him smash it in some shutters in the anime. Nightow-sensei stuck it down in a corner in a tiny frame, so I missed it entirely. ^^;;

Hypothetically. And there HAVE been doujinshi along those lines before.

That would be cool...a Trigun video game. It's an old series, though, so there isn't much hope for a release if it hasn't come out by now.

We can talk about it, though! What genre would you want it to be? A versus fighter, an RPG, a first person shooter, what? I'm thinking either a fighter or a FPS.

That was a while ago, though. But I would like to keep dreaming it will happen.

Also, I heard more rumors about it, perhaps, being a thing like you are the bounty hunter looking for Vash the Stampede. I certainly hope not. I actually want to be a Trigun character. IMO, I think that's just a fake rumor.

I meant as of right now. But, hey, Gungrave was a video game with character designs by Nightow-sensei before it was anime, so it could work the other way.
