WHOAAAA! This has got to be the longest forum topic in the history of the universe. 125 pages!? wow. I wish I could have joined this forum a long time ago.

Anyway, I'm a HUGE fan of CCS and CLAMP in general. I have nearly all the CLAMP manga and anime thats been released in the US, and I plan to one day get it all. X/1999 is one of my top 3 manga series (But I wish CLAMP would finish it, or at least tell the fans when they plan to finish it), and Cardcaptor Sakura was one of the first anime series I ever got hooked on, and it's one of my all time favorites. I look forward to discussing CLAMP and other animes with all your fun people ^^. Maybe I'll particpate in these quizes your having, they look fun.

CCS is a wonderful anime, isn't it? And the manga is so beautiful! It played a large part in my CLAMP fandom, as well, though MKR really got me started!

Welcome to the club Rocketshipper. The funny thing about CCS, I never really cared about the story. It was just "OK" and I could take it or leave it (And I've only seen the TV version). However, the artwork and animation where so beautiful and well done that I couldn't help watching it. Giving Sakura a new costume in just about every episode was a real hook for me as well. Sure beats wearing the same clothes day in and day out!

I love Cardcaptor Sakura! Especially the manga. I own and have read them all, many times.

I've only seen a few episodes of the anime, although I love the art. It's so clear and vibrant! Although I must say, the manga will always be my favorite.

As for CLAMP's other works, I've only seen the Magic Knight Rayearth anime, and read a few of those manga, but I do like them.

Yes, the artwork in the CCS manga is gorgeous! I'd recommend Tsubasa, if you haven't read it yet! ^_^

Oh, speaking of Tsubasa, a question for everyone in the club:

Who do you think those two characters (the mysterious man and young girl with dark hair) are who seem to be responsible for scattering Sakura's memories? And what do you think they might be up to? (If you know somehow please don't post a spoiler, this question is for speculation and interesting theories!)

I think they must want the power Sakura's wings have, which I think has something to do with traveling between worlds. "The power to pass through space and time" he said. Maybe he wants to conquer all the alternate realities, although knowing CLAMP he probably has a deeper mission. "world domination" is usally too cliche a goal for CLAMP villains. I can;t wait to read more Tsubasa, I think it's one of their most intriguing stories, mostly because most of the plot so far is a mystery. I wonder how long it will run.

One thing I've been wondering is what the connection is between the Time Witch from XXXHolics and Clow Reed is. Although nothing really major has been revealed, I get the feeling that there might be some bigger plot developments brewing behind the scenes of that manga.

Tsubasa keeps sounding better and better... How far is the series? 4 volumes or so?

I think it's six or seven volumes in Japan so far. It's still running. In America they just released volume 3

Juvey, we do lots of fun stuff here in the Club! We have trivia contests where you can earn the Clow Cards you see in our sigs, we have Sakura Chats on AIM, post lots of pics, have titles according to number of posts, and just talk CLAMP! Feel free to join, we'd love to have you!
