Well I've only seen the ep. that was in Newtype a few months back, so... I don't know about the rest of the series...

Also, what show doesn't...anime wise....have some sort occult symbolism?

Sadly, not many. I can think of at least two though-- Dai-guard and Nuku Nuku. Of course, they "compensate" by having semi-strong language (Dai-guard) and brief nudity (nuku nuku).... ugh.

SWORD FOR TRUTH IS THE WORST ANIME EVER!

It has a really shallow lame story line, the fight scenes are all frozen pictures of people in fight possitions (bad animation) and even though its only an hour long it manages to fit 2 sex scenes in (1 of them is Yuri!).

Overall: Shallow, expicit rubbish.

Of course its only my opinion...

Shamanking, this thread is not for unjustified "I don't like this anime" comments, it's for legitimate warnings about inappropriate material. Hamtaro does NOT fall within that bracket.

People who write below their abilities in order to crank out tons of books and make a buck. Especially Christian authors who do that. Outsiders judge us for it, and make fun of us for it, and it makes Jesus look bad. We of all artists on earth should be the most concerned with doing our best possible work at all times. We of all people should write with all our hearts, as if writing for the Lord and not for men.

I guess you were so busy thinking up ways to lambast Satsuki that you didn't realize they'd already been banned. And I'd like to point out that 98% of this forum isn't that "fearmongering" type you accuse us of. We whole-heartedly believe that anime itself isn't evil; it's how you act upon it. Yes, there are some titles that should be absolutely avoided and have no good in them. But that doesn't mean that we believe anything to come out of Japan is satanic and of the occult.

Yeah. Satsuki himself didn't even believe that-he was a troll posting for the sake of starting fights. ^sigh^

Well for the sake of knowledge then, anyone with a strike through their name has long since left the fellowship.

One member on here said Noir was about lesbians. I disagree. I think of it like the friendship between Sam and Frodo in LOTR.
I watched End of Evangelion on tv. I was thrilled to finally get to see an anime on tv for once. I watched it and was thoroughly confused, shocked and disturbed. That day I became quite depressed (I think it was subconciously and don't put up an arguement that I can't tell the difference between reality and fantasy, I can). I have watched other anime and I don't know the symbolism and other stuff in End of Evangelion just got to me. I can't recommend it to anyone. I haven't seen the series.

No offense to W4J personally, but two things:

- This thread outlived its purpose long ago, and should have been locked (now it is). The last activity on this thread was nine months prior, and for good reason.

- NGE is a proscribed topic (see the "Do Not Discuss" list) because of the significant arguments and wrangling it has generated in the past.
