What anime series that used to be on CN but aren't on now do you wish the
Evil Schedulers at CN had left alone?I.e. which now cancelled anime series that USED to be on CN do you miss the most?

Trigun. Not that it matters, since I have the uncut entire series on DVD. Just nice to see it in the listings.

Aaack! man, I almost forgot that 5-part mini anime series they showed once called IGPX:Immortal Grand Prix (that was good stuff) and Samurai Jack was refreshing to see once in a while.

Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. Yep they did awhile ago. Can't remember when because I missed it alot for awhile. We all need to write it and get them to start showing it again. It's worked when they've taken Bebop off 4 or 5 times then to put it back on, because of popular demand.

A few things that need to be clear here.

Outlaw Star and Tenchi will never be put back on CN for a very long time.

The reason was because they give up the rights for both of them and that was like two years ago or so. The rights for Tenchi have been pick up and I thought Outlaw Star was too by the same channel that brought the rights for Tenchi.

IGPX:Immortal Grand Prix.

We should see the five part story again later this year. They have pick it up for full run of like 12 or 26 eps and will be coming to CN in the fall of this year.

Without a doubt, Detective Conan (I honestly hate referring to it as Case Closed, y'know).

I'm throwing in my votes for Voltron and Samurai Jack.

On another note, it is my humble opinion that cartoon network should pick up the original He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, as well as Earthworm Jim. Both excellent cartoons (though only the former is classic).

Really, CN gets some good anime, but they have a very bad schedulers and alot of time, if you blink. You will miss the lineup.

I mean, look at Big O. I didn't even know that they were going to show it untill that first night that they put it on. I would be nice to knows these things, people! Sometimes, I want change my major and try to go work CN and try to fix that problem.

What I don't get is, why they like to play around some of the anime that they got. The last time WHR was on, they ran from April to about May and then started over and then took it off the air. That is real start on their part.

And I really thought they would play Trigun over and over again like they have done with Cowboy Bebop.

I guess the reason for not showing Blue Gender anymore after they show the whole thing the frist time was, maybe just wanted to do away with it. Sounds funny to do that, when you spent all that time editing the crap out of it and then just show the whole thing once.

I do think WHR will be back on down the road. I just feel that they take WR off for a bit and put something else on. I would like to see Gundam (but I know that will not happen, because of its poor rantings on CN) Gundam 08th MS Team, 0080 and 0083 and Pilot Candidate.

Now I like Detective Conan or Case Close, but I going to have to stick with CN on this. I think the reason why they didn't want to order anymore eps is, because by the time there will or would be an ending, all of us would or will be in our 50's

Detective Conan frist aired in Japan in 1-8-1996. It was showed two days before Rurouni Kenshin - The Romantic History of a Meiji Era, 3rd arc and was on before even Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon Sailor Stars (3-9-1996) and Tenku no Escaflowne (4-02-1996).

Detective Conan is still being aired and making more eps now. I just really can't see CN going and buying all of those eps of Detective Conan.

Well, if you mean more after season 2, then both you and I are out of luck. That's it for the whole series. Now we just have to figure out the story with our own theories. *sigh*

Hmm....well, while I have a soft spot for CN for introducing me to anime (and giving me series' that were mostly "clean" if for a little "cutting" ^^;; ) I'm not sure I truly MISS any of the series on there in a sense that I'd watch it again.

Samurai Jack though, I definately miss. I loved that show, and even the repeats I could find things to love--the music, the art style...all of it really impressed me and I want to go buy the DVD soon. ^^;;

Let me tell you a Tale of Great Woe- my escapades with CN and Big O.

I watched Big O's first and second seasons almost obsessively. I would schedule my life around watching Big O. (This is something I never do- I always figure I can catch the reruns later. I don't even watch primetime.) Then, the last episode of the second season was supposed to air- and I was ready to watch it- as usual. When I saw the first five minutes, I was confused- wasn't this an episode I had already seen? I figured that CN was postponing the very last episode a week to draw viewers, gave a sigh of impatience, and turned off the TV. The next week I turned on CN expecting to see the long-awaited final episode- only to see some other show instead! Turned out that the week before had been the finale- it just had some flashbacks in the beginning. And to this day, I have never seen that last episode of Big O. (Cries miserably into her pillow)

Anyone know when Tom Goes the Mayor is on? My graphic design classmates tell me it is a must see. But I can't seem to locate it on the schedule......
Maybe our mistakes are what make our fate. Without them, what would shape our lives? Perhaps if we never veered off course, we wouldn't fall in love, or have babies, or be who we are. After all, seasons change. So do cities. People come into your life and people go. But it's comforting to know the ones you love are always in your heart. And if you're very lucky, a plane ride away.

It has been taking off for now. I think Robot Chicken took its place for now. Tom goes to the Mayor will be back on later down the road. People love the show so much, that they have order more eps.

Will let you know if they are back on or when the new eps will start.
