Who else uses this site? If you haven't heard about it... seriously, it rocks!

Basically, it's AnimeNation's version of Netflix. For $20 a month, you get unlimited anime DVD rentals from a MASSIVE selection. Not to mention they ship stuff FAST.

Seriously, this site rocks!

I didn't get stuff fast when I was on it... It often took me a week or more, vs 2 days on netflix...

I went on it because I thought they'd have a better anime selection, and they did at the time, but now netflix's anime collection is massive, and there were too many "long waits' on Rent Anime's list... Not to mention the one disc I was hoping to get most (since netflix doesn't have it) is the Macross Plus movie edition...

It's possible yours is shipped from nearby... Netflix has wherehouses all over the US, wheras rent anime may have only 1 or 2 wherhouses...

Distance from the shipping wherehouse is a very important factor... mine come from about half an hour's drive from here...

I use it, have been since last fall. Mailing times are acceptable, I can't really complain about anything.

I could never rent enough anime to send $20 a month for either of them. Though there are on occassions I do drive downtown to this one anime rental place; they have almost every title. It's pretty cool ^_^

That is the key there.

Since rent anime is own by AnimeNation and they are base in Fla. The wherehouses are in the east. Most people that I have talk to that live in the East of the Mississippi river or just a little pass it, have a good turn around time with them. Where people on West Coast haven't.

Alot of people agree that if you live in the east, southeast or Midwest and Southwest, rent anime is a good place to rent from. But if you live in the West Coast, its not a good place to rent anime from.
