s-CRY-ed

Has anyone seen s-CRY-ed? I haven't seen it but have heard good things about it, so I was wondering about content and plot sort of stuff. I'd really like to see it sometime soon.

I've watched the whole series and generally enjoyed it.

The story reminds me of X-men (rebellious power ppl vs no power ppl vs power ppl who try to control rebellious power ppl). I must have confused someone by now.

I liked the flow of the story and how the plot enfolded except towards the end (got a little tiring). But I would still watch it coz the fighting scenes are quite cool and I liked the characters. Some characters confused me by their actions and I couldn't really predict what they'll do next. You need to constantly guess their real intentions behind their actions. Kazuma, the main character is quite a reckless crazy guy (the theme song is "Reckless Fire", sure fits him well). You don't really know why many characters act in a certain way until later on. They sure take their time to explain things. :shady:

It's clean, no sex or unnecessary violence (I don't recall any gore at all). Just maybe a girl who wears a skirt too short for her job. A lot of action, which was fun.....except the last episode which was starting to become Saint Saiyan. You've gotta see it to know what I mean. >_<

I found it fun to see these "Alter Users" characters with different powers and how they use it. Yeah, I like sCRYed. ^^ Hope this helps. Hope I didn't mention anything spoiler worthy. ^^;

Seen it, eh not bad. Not my fav but it wasn't bad at all. 'cept for the end, boo hiss.
Maybe our mistakes are what make our fate. Without them, what would shape our lives? Perhaps if we never veered off course, we wouldn't fall in love, or have babies, or be who we are. After all, seasons change. So do cities. People come into your life and people go. But it's comforting to know the ones you love are always in your heart. And if you're very lucky, a plane ride away.

Anyone know about the Manga? I had considered picking it up a long time ago but didn't (can't remember why), I think I picked up the 1st Rave Master book.

I have three volumes of the manga. There is nudity in it (first volume has Kazuma fighting a topless female alter user). Discussion of sex (mild). Implied sex (which was apparently an expression of alter power - with the girl completely naked - don't ask). Most of the nudity, etc. comes into play in the later volumes.

Needless to say, I really like the manga storyline, but I don't like all the fanservice and borderline hentai. I have no plans to buy the rest of the manga, but I will continue to watch the anime.

Thanks for the info. I'll look into seeing it sometime, hopefully. The magna sounds a bit too much for me though. Anyone heard of Kai Doh Maru?

Ack the manga!! I've seen it and it was a complete turn off for me! Storyline may be good but the artwork isn't as nice and it has some elements that deleria has already mentioned. :shake: what a shame.

The anime is much, much cleaner than the manga. At first, I preferred the storyline of the manga; but, the more I watched the anime I really liked it more. The anime and manga are totally different.

>>Anyone heard of Kai Doh Maru?

I've seen Kah Doh Maru. It's very violent. It has a so-so story. I didn't like the story because I prefer happy endings. The artwork, however, is beautiful. If you're an artist or appreciate the art of anime, this is a must see.

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.
