Also, if you watch Adult Swim on Saturdays, what is the commercial with all those people dressed in black raising little green squares with what looks like a Space Invader drawn on them? At the end of the commercail, some weird voice says, 'The day of reckoning is upon us."

I watched it, and I agree that it was very sad. [SPOILER]Poor cougar! Whyyyyy! I was sad when Scheris died to. I used to think she was really annoying though. ^^]
I'm not sure what commercial that was. Was it for a show? It sounds like it may have been one of the GameTap website commercials, but I'm not sure.

I think they were advertising the DVD for ATHF.

As far as s-CRY-ed goes,I agree it was rather sad.Then again it was probably the only way Cerishe could show her love for Ryohu.

[SPOILER] Poor Cougar!! Straight was such an awesome guy, I didn't want him to die!! Scheris, on the other hand, well...I wasn't too sad about her death, haha. I want Mimori and Ryuho, not Scheris and Ryuho! Her voice was...really...annoying. *is shot* XD I had started to think the series was hitting a rut for a while...After the ep where Kimishima died (SADNESS), it just kinda went downhill-ish? I don't know, but I LOVED Saturday's ep. Anyways, it was a really great episode...But I wish Straight didn't have to go like that! [/SPOILER]

I was really left scratching my head after that episode for two reasons]

I did see it. It was very sad.

[SPOILER] I never liked Scheris that much either, but it was so sad when she died because of Ryuho's reaction. Even if we don't like her, she was his friend and team mate for how long? I mean, he saw and worked with her every day for crying out loud.

I wasn't expecting quite such a strong reaction from him though, when he started to cry. Instead of just crying he kind of had a break down. I was like I was expecting a few tears to fall on her clothes, but no, he crashed head long into them. So, I have to theories as to why he cried so hard:
1. He was feeling guilty. He'd just remembered her telling him she'd loved him several episodes back before he got his memory back. He didn't feel the same way, but cared for her in a way, and was feeling guilty for not being able to do anything for her feelings. He did say "what can I do for you?" after remembering her telling him she loved him.

OR...

2. He was also crying for the death of his father and Scheris at the same time. He'd held it in when his father died and now, with Scheris's death and Kazuma telling him to cry, it all just came out at once.[/SPOILER]

just my thoughts. Ack! Its snowing here... I don't think its sticking to the ground, but its snowing. Which means its cold (like it is in the house right now). Happy Thanksgiving everyone! (two days early. I doubt I'll be on Turkey day).
