Is anyone going to otakon? I know some people are, like spoonybard perhaps. I know this is way early. But if you are definately going to go. I suggest preregistering soon via online because this year they are limiting their members to 22,000 people unfortunately.

There is a lightrail station next to the Baltimore Convention Center. I do NOT recommend taking it for some reasons. Because the MTA decided to shut it down for reconstruction. In the summer only about half of the whole rail in that area will be online. But other parts wont be available. If you are, try to find a hotel hear the BCC or something. Unless you drive of course

I have a room at the Holiday Inn just around the corner already because if you don't get one reserved before the con you have to pay big money for the some of the hotels or walk or drive a distrance from another and find a place to park(If there is not a ball game going on), plus becareful of the crime in Baltimore after dark.
As soon as I can and the site opens I will prereg for Otakon for the first time I have been going. I wish I could be part of the con staff without becoming a goffer that way I wouldn't have to worry about registering.
