Ghost in The Shell SAC 2nd Gig

I loved GITS:SAC, so I was wondering if the second one was any good. I care more about the story than the action.

Things I loved about SAC
Artwork was incredible and good use of perspective.
Story was what really made me love it. The allusions to J.D. Salinger's short story was so good.
Action was also pretty amazing.

Is the second one worth buying or should I wait to rent/borrow it or just not watch it at all.

The 2nd Gig is great. Good story, plenty of character development. The story is also more continuous, instead of episodic like in the first season. I liked it just as much as the first, and I'd definitely recommend it. ^^
MOES. I can has Sane Sig now?

2nd Gig is great and the show managed to keep the same feel and edge it had in GITS:SAC . If you liked GITS:SAC you will probably like this one too.

I love Ghost in the Shell: SAC, but I loved 2nd Gig even more.

It has a mix of both character development and good action.
