On the last SMR disc, they have an ad for "Southern Cross"

Isn't that one of the 3 shows that eventually became "Robotech"? I know one of them was Macross, but isn't one of them "Southern Cross" That means we have at least 2 of the original shows here... It would be good for Robotech fans to check that one out, too...

Yup, this is true. Southern Cross is what we know over here as the Robotech Masters saga, just as Genesis Climber Mospeada is known over here as the New Generation. It's interesting to note that Southern Cross and Mospeada have nothing to do with Macross (what we know as Robotech) except for being made by the same production company. What ever came over US Harmony to butcher the series like they did, I'll never know... but Robotech is still a huge part of my childhood and I own the whole series :p
