pretear: yea or nay.

A friend told me that Pretear was clean, but I'm not really sure if their clean and my clean even resemble eachother. Can anybody tell me if there's anything I should know about in Pretear?

I've only seen the first episode and it seemed fine (there is a magic-girl Barbie doll transformation though), but I've heard that the dub in some of the episodes has some unacceptable amounts of bad language in it. I don't think we have a review on this yet ... Gypsy?

Anyway, I'd rate Pretear to be 13+ so far. I've seen the first three volumes (the 4th and final volume is yet to be released). As Shooraijin mentioned, there is a magic girl transformation scene. It's undetailed, but it still counts as "nudity." There's mild language in the dub, and a few off-colored jokes. The violence is frequent, but hardly extreme (magic fights).

EDIT: I forgot there was a scene that's very fanservicey and involves topless (however, still undetailed) nudity, and a shower shot from the back. Himeno's older sister has this hobby of trying to seduce Himeno's male friends by making them stand outside the shower door and hold her towel for her. (While it's comedic in nature and she never succeeds, it's still 13+ material.)
