Questions on DNAngel...

I know what DNAngel is about (somewhat) But does anyone know when its going to be relased in US. or is it? And is there anything 'questionable' in it? And last, is there anything questionable religious wise on it.. Thanks.

1) The DNAngel manga is going to be released by TokyoPop sometime in March or April. Not sure about the anime, but I'm sure it'll follow sometime.

2) The only thing that would strike me as "questionable" is the fact that Dark appears shirtless quite a few times. ^^; Didn't really bother me, being a fangirl and all, but I'm not sure how some other people would see it.

3) Religious wise nothing too questionable unless you read a bit into the story. One wonders how Dark and Krad got bound to the Niwa and Hikari families for one, and two, Krad is referred to as an "Ice Demon" (if I read it right. o_o;), though he has no characteristics of Biblical demons (aside from the fact that he's crazy and homicidal)

i think that satoshi in the anime is implied to be gay, pretty sure about that

See, the thing is, we KNOW that love triggers Daisuke's transformations, but there hasn't been much of a mention on what exactly triggers Satoshi's transformations.

I don't think the guy is gay personally, everyone knows he's gonna end up with Risa.

Yay! I thread I can help with! I going to have some very very minor spoilers though to make sure I cover all the "bad stuff."

The anime is going to be released in the U.S. This is a definate for sure thing, I just don't know when. I know it has been licensed because it has been taken off the bittorrent downloads.

I haven't read the manga but in my opinion there is no yaoi between Daisuke and Satoshi. Dark transfers because of Daisuke's "love DNA" and since it works both ways, when Dark thinks of the girl he likes, he turns back. But since Krad never changes back "because he sees the girl he likes" it is always when Satoshi manages to overpower him. And Krad comes out with he manages to overpower Satoshi. So it works both ways again.

Ok now for bad stuff: Krad and Dark use there feathers to cast magic. And they have a lot of feathers which they use a lot, but never get that plucked chicken look. Go figure. A couple of times Dark casts spells but all you here is him muttering some mumbo jumbo.

And of course most of the art pieces that Dark/Diasuke are stealing are posessed or something along those lines so there is that negative side too.

Haha, glad you liked that. Unfortunately I didn't come up with it. I read it somewhere on a Escaflowne site a long time ago(they were talking about Van and Folken), but I remembered it because it is just too funny.

I guess having 'em going around with big bald spots on their wings would kinda put a damper on the bishounen image they got goin' on though.

Well, I think they would still look bishi-ful, but I think at least Dark's confidence and vanity might be a bit hurt by the "plucked chicken look" (plus, they might have trouble flying away from mobs of fangirls -- not that I would mind, but they would.)
