This will go through may too so I will make the deadline may 30th

the rules are the same as always!

Color the provided lineart using whatever mediums you like... as long as you can tell what the original picture was anything goes!

Does it have to be colored in by hand or can it also be done on computer?

hehe, ill have to try my cg skills again, the ones i havent used in months >:D

but not right now, right now comes the durn college tests :\

im working on it now, so far 30 minutes of work done.

btw: rii namuras, your gonna have to save them a lil higher res, coloring in between all these rly pixelated lines hurts my eyes @.o and my tablet broke a week ago and im using a mini mouse now so now my eyes and hand hurts =(

EDIT: yeh i think i lost some of my CG touch for not making any cg in so long, but i think some photoshop skills made up from it


and im posting it on deviantart if u dont mind rii namura, mainly because i need to post something up there besides my photoshop effects work, Ill give credit to you for the lineart.

also sorry that it doesn't follow the naruto ninja color theme, im not real familiar with it.

I had some free time, and got my entry done.

I decided to go with the anime version Konoha ANBU color scheme, and had fun with the background, complete with rickety wooden fence (no I'm not a Narutard... *looks away quickly*) :


and rii namuras, would it be alright for me to put this up in my deviantArt account, crediting you, for a collab? If so, do you have a dA account so I can credit you?

:edit: I did the whole thing with a mouse, something I haven't ever done, but my tablet is out of order for a while until I get a new pen. It was tough, since I'm not used to using a mouse anymore...

ShadowCat - I like the highly contrasted lighting you used, and nice job on the smooth shading, and giving the lineart depth by blurring out the farther back part.

Sonicbomb: I like the subtle coloring you used, and the autumn color scheme works well too. I especially like the effect you achieved with her glasses, and the stylized background.

It's supposed to look like she's about to leave, ad her picture gets taken. The Kanji means "Luck." The camera, however, captured more than just the nice trees. o.O

It looks good rii, the background is indeed clean, but its too contrasting and kinda the attention grabber.

The shadows in the hair doesn't rly follow the source that the other shadows follow.
I like it alot tho, it looks very good. ^^

Well its the end of the month... So Now I need to judge...

Due to a low amount of entries I will just judge in the "best technical entry" area!

Lovely coloring, Rii. I like the color scheme you used. And how the background plays a visual trick with the checks you're not looking directly at appearing to be red rather than black. ^^
