DeVern Fromke

DeVern Fromke is a Christian author and has spoken to people all over the world. Although he is elderly, you may have read a book by him. I have read one titled "Awaken My Heart to Life's Ultimate Privilege" which is a 15-day devotional that is filled with real life testimonies, hymns, biblically based theology, and practical application. Three lessons that stick out to me are: 1) in order to discern God's will, you must be prepared (by emptying yourself) to accept it; 2) there are two different kinds of prayer: prayer of faith and prayer of mercy; 3) pray specifically.

He is a passionate man for the Lord. Even in his 80s (?) he will be speaking at a small conference hosted by my church during July 1-5.
