I was wondering if anyone here has read any of S. E. Hinton's excellent books. I've read the following and loved them:
The Outsiders
That Was Then This is Now
Rumblefish
Taming the Star Runner
Tex
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you. I appointed you to be a prophet of all nations."
--Jeremiah 1:5

I haven't but my maternal grandpa had a part in the filming of part of The Outsiders. The house he grew up in was used as a dressing area, etc and the vacant lot next to it was used in one of the gang scenes
