Flash animation software

Help! I want to start experimenting with making flash videos and what not...but I don't know which is the best software to use...I want to be able to make music videos when I get good enough ^_^ ....I was listening to Nicole C Mullins' "Come Unto Me" and I had these pictures in my mind and I want to animate them....once I do, I'll definately share w/you guys!

definatly macromedia flash MX.

when i was in highschool, i was able to get a free copy of it through the school because it was part of the corriculum. it's definatly the best!

From what I hear, good but expensive. But there is a trial version on their site, methinks.

Actually, flash is cool and all but if you want to use something thats specifically for animating, I'd recommend "ToonBoom". Its awesome. It's so much easier to animate in. It costs about the same price as MX so, I'd go with that. Its also great cause you can then import your toons into Flash MX and then print it as a flash movie.

Unfortunately I do not have this super cool program as I got MX Flash just before I found out about it and now I kind of regret it. But I'll get it eventually

I just discovered I have ToonBoom Studio Express 2.5 on a computer magazine cd. I'm guessing that's the bare essentials version. I've learnt some animation in Flash, but it was hard to learn and I'm not really improving. I'd like to try this. Are there any tutorials for ToonBoom? Where do I start?

Wow, you got toon boom Express from a magazine CD? Express is like 100 dollars. It's pretty good for trying it out though. You only get 1000 frames to work with though and and you get some other limintations but I don't remember what they are.

You can download the full version of ToonBoom for 30 days at toonboom.com. It has all the tutorials and stuff in there. I don't really know anywhere else online that has tutorials though. Haven't really looked.
