Try putting the directory name in quotes, e.g. cd "directo.ry.name.5"

Try typing "jdk" then press TAB to autocomplete. Might work.
Either that or install "Open command prompt here..." Powertoy, then select the Java directory and right click to open there to bypass the typing.
Everywhere like such as, and MOES.

Hmm... I'd wager not. That's a space right, not a tab? If cmd.exe is dying on you, I'd suspect foul play. When was your last virus/trojan scan? It may be the number of periods in the filename is confusing it, though. You're typing that right - not copying and pasting the filename? Change the default font to see if there's something else going on there. If that doesn't work, and if the quotes don't work for you, then I'm out of suggestions.

Sorry!
