GIMP button probs

Postby ZiP » Thu May 05, 2005 8:22 am

I've been working with buttons in GIMP, but I'm have a heck of a hard time getting the shape right.
I find that if I set the square selector for gimp on a father edge of 50, I can achieve what I'm wanting, but when I try to gradient fill my selection... Well, it'll be easier to show than to tell, attached is a screenshot.

anybody see how I can fix this?
Thanks,
ZiP

EDIT: here's the link.

I don't see the image. Is it just my screen from here? Worst case scenareo, you can probably select the gradient with no feathering and use a layer to cover up whatever bleed might be wrong. (I'm assuming bleed because I can't see the graphic).

Ah, I'm not sure what's wrong with the attachment, but there's the link, it's weird, because, even if I turn the rect. select off of feather, it stills messes up the gradient.
