Help With GIFs

Postby Angel37 » Thu Mar 10, 2005 1:30 pm

I have a gif file I want to put on my AIM icon but it's too many bytes. Can anyone tell me how or just fix it so it will not be so big? Here's the file.
Thankyas and God bless!

the limit for aim is 7168 bytes... your picture is 63.3 KB (64820 bytes)

you could try to make it smaller, or reduce the quality, ill try to... im not good with image manipulation but im sure others will do a better job than me

It's going to be hard to get it that small with all the fades. Each step of the fade is an individual GIF frame.

The easiest way would be to make hard jump cuts instead of fade outs. It wouldn't look so nice, but it would fit.
