CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

Hello everyone. I am Kankokujin and I found this site as I was randomly browsing things related to anime. This caught my attention because I never expected to see the words: Christian and anime in the same site before. Not that it's a bad thing. I've always wanted to meet fellow anime fans who are also walking the path of faith. I always felt alone in that aspect. I question where I am in the faith part though. It's been a while since I really prayed or read the word and it's been tough for me to get back into it. Hopefully you guys can help me out and as I help you out as well.

I currently am attending school to major in Japanese.

Now about anime, I'm a big old school fan and I tend to watch stuff most people haven't heard about.

What titles of anime are you into?

Well, if I had to pick my favorite anime of all time, it would be Macross Plus. My favorite manga is Devilman, Battle Angel Alita, Violence Jack, and Battle Royale just to name some of them. I watch a little bit of various anime so I have a hard time telling you specific titles. I'm sure you'll find out as we talk in the forums.

Glad to meet another Alita fan! I'm not big on the others, but Alita is a personal favorite. I'm sure there's other crossover.

By the way, your username. Is that 'Korean'(as in person from) in Japanese? Just curious; I'm pretty shaky on country names still.

Well, I've started two mech rpg's. One's based on The Transformers, and another is an original idea.

CAA e youkoso! Nice to meet you, Kankokujin. I myself just started here the other day (yes, I know it says I joined in 2006, just disregard that ). I haven't seen a whole lot of old anime, unfortunately. Just Sailor Moon, Magic Knight Rayearth, and a little bit of Nadia, I think. I'd like to get into it more, though. Anyway, see you around the boards!

Nope. Although I really like Gatchaman too. It's from Brave Fighter of Legend Da Garn. One of the Brave series that was inspired by Transformers.

Oh, your avatar is from Da Garn? Cool! I haven't seen it but I really like the opening song, hehe. In fact, the only Brave series I've seen in full is GaoGaiGar, but I saw a couple of episodes of Might Gaine and really liked that.

You know. I still haven't finished watching GaoGaiGar yet. So what anime is your avatar from? It looks familiar but I have no idea.

It's Prince Mito from Saikyo Robo Daiohja, which is reeeeally obscure. I've never even seen it, I just think it looks cool, lol.
