I do watch stuff on Netflix though.
Anywho, here are some of my favorites:

1. Avatar: The Last Airbender
2. iCarly
3. Young Justice

Gah. How did I forget those?

I also enjoy Powerpuff Girls, Dexter's Laboratory, and Johnny Bravo, when they happen to be on.

Cartoons I wished were still airing: Secret Saturdays and Sym-Bionic Titan.

And Invader ZIM is awesome and I am sad it was cut prematurely all those years ago. ;_;

Stargate SG1 and Doctor Who tie for my two favourite shows. The rest in rough order of preference, although they tend to shift up or down depending on what I am currently watching.

Lost (finished)
Stargate Atlantis (finished)
Sanctuary
Life on Mars (finished)
The Vampire Diaries
Merlin
Black Books (finished)
White Collar
Avatar the Last Airbender (finished)
Samurai Jack (finished)

I also watch HIMYM, Modern Family and Big Bang theory, but those aren't really the kind of shows that I personally put on a favourites list.

The most recent one I finished was Life on Mars, which is spectacular, and I am now watching season one of the sequel series, Ashes to Ashes.

Debatable. Personally, I've never thought of it as such. But I don't think it really matters.

And it would be on my list of favorite shows if the climax's resolution wasn't horrible. Deus ex machina strikes again!

Avatar is an American made cartoon in the anime style if I'm correct. I don't really consider it anime unless it's actually from Japan.

No no it's not. I may look like anime but it is not. It's made by Americans so .

Well you can't exactly draw 'anime' anyway, unless you're animating something. XD]style[/I] if you're not Japanese. What Grubb means is the show was created by Americans, and just because the show's art is like an anime's doesn't make the show an anime, because it's not from Japan.

What if you trace a picture that a person drew from Japan and was anime would that still be anime or not?

Even if they were inspired by anime, the shows creators were American. Avatar: TLA started, in some form at least, in the U.S.. It didn't have to go through licensing companies to get an English dub.

There was actually a thread discussing it a while back, here.

That said, I don't really consider Avatar: TLA an anime, and it doesn't make any difference which it is, anyway.
akorecki1 (post: 1515831) wrote:What if you trace a picture that a person drew from Japan and was anime would that still be anime or not?

That would be anime fanart for that particular anime. Or a copy of some art in an anime-style.

If you're just drawing, it doesn't matter if you're in Japan or not. You can draw in whatever style you wish. But only shows from Japan get called "anime".

My Dictonary said" Japanese movie and television animation, often having a science fiction theme and sometimes including violent or explicitly sexual material. Compare with manga." It says nothing about having to be made in Japan or being made by the Japanese.
